Great location, but I got a smell once I walked in and didn't hit me well for a first impression. We also had a party of 10 and wanted to split the bill accordingly, but the waiter never asked us and then told us we could only split it 4 ways. The food was decent- could have used a bit more flavor. The oysters were nice and fresh. The ambiance (outside of the smell) was spectacular. Great scenery, right on the water, great decor. Would have to visit again

You can't go wrong in Malibu, at least not here. My family came in from out of town and wanted to go to Malibu. Reservations were easy. Service was quick and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a quick lunch here and while there was a crowd we were seated and served quickly. Let me start by sharing that everyone from the valet, to the reservation check in, the hostess, and other staff went above and beyond with service. Our server made excellent drink recommendations. The panoramic views were absolutely breathtaking. There were 4 of us and everything we ordered was perfection.

Through the food, we witnessed the changing of the seasons. In this modern era, it’s a privilege to put down our phones and open our senses to the world, to touch the color, to witness the shapes. It's not our fault that we are bound by entities like games, apps, and social media, because they are designed to pump dopamine to our brain cells. But when we sat down and watched the sun slowly set, we felt as if we were experiencing early summer, transitioning into fall, then winter. It's like all the memories of 2023 were replaying in front of our eyes, not visually, but emotionally. Then, of course, food was fantastic. To be fair, I’m not saying it's "oh my god, this is so delicious I have to give it a 10 star but I’m capped at 5” delicious, but it's solid, well-prepared, and joyful food. So I think the point of this restaurant, at least in my opinion, is that it captures your attention, slows you down, opens your senses, and ensures you can enjoy a one-hour dining moment. Don’t forget, make a reservation 30 minutes before sunset. Otherwise you will miss what I just described. I hope you enjoy it!

As other reviewers have stated, only the view is worthwhile here. Hence the two stars. I could sit all day and look at the view which was absolutely breathtaking. As for the actually restaurant, I must say is subpar. We came right when the restaurant was opening. The hostess was very communicative and accommodating. We ordered a shrimp dish which wasn’t fresh, the shrimp tasted at least a day old. The salad tasted average. The crab cake tasted the best. The servers were quite judgmental however. We ordered three dishes since we went too hungry, and the server did not seem pleased with that. From then on we felt an environment where they did not want to serve us. The servers seemed quick to push us out when were close to finishing our meals despite an empty restaurant at the time. Of course I tipped less and of course they didn’t like that as well. Sure, this is Malibu and perhaps the richer folk frequent here more but I would expect more from a restaurant especially with the prices they are charging here. Come here for the view, not the food or service.

Very romantic low lighted atmosphere. Place is a lot bigger on the inside. Made reservations here for my birthday. Parking was easy, there was valet parking or street parking available. The food was perfect, along with the drinks! Good variety of foods to choose from. Amazing service from the staff. The views of the ocean were beautiful at night, while you ate you could hear the ocean waves crashing against the building. Highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner spot.

This restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience, perfect for any occasion. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you step in. The food is simply amazing - every dish is fresh, flavorful, and truly mouth-watering. And let's not forget the stunning ocean view and sunset - it's the perfect combination. I recently celebrated my birthday there with my sis and it was a night to remember. Thank you for providing such a lovely atmosphere and delicious cuisine.

One of the most mentioned places in Malibu, and rightfully so—the view is absolutely breathtaking. The food is just fine, serving as an add-on to the main attraction, which is undoubtedly the stunning view. Ideal for celebrations, the combination of the picturesque scenery and decent food makes it a great option for a date night as well. Me and my friend, we stayed a bit longer and had the chance to witness the view transform from before sunset to after—it's an experience worth trying, especially if you, like me, love the beauty of a sunset!

Adequate-to-good seafood in a world class ambiance. Service was top notch. No dish in particular was life changing. The most memorable part of the night was the elegance of the dining room and the view. If you’re used to fresh new england lobster probably keep looking. I look forward to returning.

Very limited parking and not very good if your car is lowered. We parked a little ways before the entrance and walked the rest of the way. Breathtaking views though.

It's great, please don't come here. Would much prefer to keep it to myself ;) Lengthy walk down steep stairs, typically big surf. Keep an eye on the tide, if you're there for long enough your towels can be in danger!

It is a very rocky beach not good for families or day trips for tanning unless you're willing to sit on rocks. Not too much sand great to look in the rocks for sea critters though. If you just an adventurous person.
