We always enjoy our stay. We have a travel trailer and stay in the RV campground. The campground is great. The lake and scenery is fantastic. We understand the need for speed bumps on the roads, but they need to be marked with signs. There are too many of them between the entrance and the check-in booth. They are too tall, especially for vehicles with trailers.

We camped at this wonderful campground with our extended family (kids and grandkids). The lake is great, we fished (we caught fish every day the kids thought it was awesome), kayaked and rented the pontoon boat (boat was the nicest rental I've had). The camp sites were spacious and the big pine trees really set them apart from many of the other resorts. The restaurant is excellent! We ate there twice for dinner and really enjoyed both meals. Lastly the staff there were great! They accommodated out 10 people for dinner easily. The facilities were clean. I never saw trash laying around or trash receptacles (bear proof) that were over full. Definitely going back!

What a stunning venue for a music festival! This was our first time at the Caveman & certainly won't be our last! The people here are fabulous & friendly, the views are breathtaking, the food was incredible! Had a wonderful time & look forward to next year!

This resort is a true Colorado hidden gem. It's got all the essentials covered, including a store, restaurant, and fantastic staff. And the best part? You also get to soak in the beauty of the Colorado outdoors. We went fishing and reeled in quite a catch

We rented cabin 306 for three nights. We had a rainstorm come through and our cabin leaked in 4 different places! It was coming in the door so much I had to use their towels to stop the flow of water. I went to the restaurant to get more towels and the maintenance man even said to me "yeah, that needs a new roof". When the next day called for another storm we decided to leave a day early instead of dealing with this situation again. When checking out a the booth and we explained why we were leaving a day early, the lady in the booth said "yes, we have heard that before about that cabin!" So why would they keep renting out a cabin that everyone is fully aware of that leaks when it rains?? I don't mean a little drip in one section either. They never offered a refund for an earlier departure because of this just "we are aware of it"... Then fix it!!

Started visiting the facility in 1966. Watched it grow and expand without destroying the 1900 feel. We have a cabin at Stonewall, built in 1907. The family has seen the WWII prisoner camp and the small guard homes.

Absolutely adored this resort! Super-friendly staff and tons of extra perks. They've got a store for your every need, a killer restaurant with live music, and even boat rentals. Rainy days were no match for their restaurant. Only gripe? No kitchen in the rooms. But hey, we're totally coming back – this hidden gem is a keeper!

Bad experience, I made a bad mistake booked wrong weekend didn’t catch till night before needed to check in on wrong weekend. Tried calling day before no one answered. They called me back and would not work with me with anything said it was my fault over and over again. I didn’t need to be reminded it was my fault. I realize weekend I wanted was sold out but asked just for credit so I can come at later date so not my money back answer was absolutely not. Then asked for some of my money back again no. I’ve been going there for 30 straight years for Labor Day weekend. They didn’t even care it’s all about money for them not that this area has been my home for 55 years. So sad, didn’t have any heart dint care one bit. They took last money from me $583. For something I cannot use didn’t even try to fix. I will be staying in stonewall from now on and won’t be back to my favorite lake until someone else buys or never. North lake is good too.|Next time treat people with respect instead of blaming them this is sad day for me I can’t go next weekend. You didn’t even say sorry it ruined my vacation. Yes it was my fault I get it thanks for no help in my mistake.
