Monument Grill - Bar & grill in Gering - 2550 Clubhouse Dr, USA

Went here while traveling through town. Great service, good food, good prices. Something different rather than the usual fare in town. Enjoyed the visit and my wife loved her 12" pizza. I had the Firecracker Shrimp appetizer and the Crab Cake Fresh Garden salad. Watched them shoot the last hole of the course while the sun slowly set. Nice country club atmosphere.

I dont write reviews. But this occasion was significantly different than anything I’ve ever experienced. I took my three children into eat, it took over two hours to get our food. Our food came out ice cold, and my son’s steak had very long hair on it. I could continue with the quality of our meals. But I will end this review by saying we left very upset and disappointed

Server had to come back 3 times to tell us items we ordered they were out of, salad dressing, green pepper, crust for pizzas. Come on now who's not doing their job! All falls on management!!

Dined in for the New Year’s Eve dinner. I ordered the queen prime w/ the crab legs. My meat came out rare, which I didn’t order. The crab legs were not edible. They were overcooked. Unfortunately I spent over $100 & only was able to eat my salad & mash potatoes. When we told our waitress, she didn’t seem to care. Therefore, I couldn’t recommend this place during the NYE dinner.

Quality of food here has gone down over the years. This last experience really showed the lack of attention given to the quality of ingredients. For starters our food came out cold. The salad was nothing but chopped up Romaine with some tough chicken nuggets on top of it. I used to love it here but for the money I think I will dine elsewhere.

Went there for a kind of high school reunion for my wife (Mitchell Class of '84) and we had a really great time. The bar staff and service was great and then we sat and ate a really good dinner and again the staff were exceptional. We stayed for several hours and the staff never rushed us or or treated us like we needed to leave. Really recommend this place!

I’ve been here a couple times in the past. I’ll be focusing on my recent visit though. Food was very good. Prices are about what you’d expect. Slightly more than an average restaurant but worth it. Atmosphere is laid back and also slightly upscale. Location is nice and secluded so it’s almost forgotten about sometimes. They also have Scarpino’s pizza to order. Service here was good but could be a bit more attentive/friendly. Did have a slight wait to get our menus and ended up grabbing them ourselves. Our food came timely based on the larger party we had.

I try to give this place a chance but end up disappointed everytime. 5 entres took an hour an a half to arrive, steaks were supposed to be medium rare, were almost well done. Missing fried onion on burger, chicken in the alfredo and everything was cold except the light warmth from the heat lamp. Waitress was super friendly and helpful though.
