Montrose Market - Grocery store in Roselle - 550 W Lake St, USA

Lunch / dinner $6 special has saved me!!! Everyone knows I've been eating out over 27 years until covid. Losing 6 buffets from the shut down, my food budget tripled. My brother told me about Montrose Market exactly 2 weeks ago today, we went with mom and the experience was great! The people at the counter are nice. Now I've been there almost every single day and my food budget has cut 2/3 (66%) saving money and eating much better, including more vegetables. But it's not just about the price, the food quality, selections, and flavor is excellent! So far when I find a good thing I eat too much of it and I get tired of it. So far it's so good, not tired of it at all! Fried chicken patty, fried pork or swai fish, cabbage roll in the tomato sauce, cucumber dill is outstanding! And I always buy extra pieces each time I go there, I don't just buy the special. Excellent deli!! See you today. 👏

Nice Polish market with good grocery selections. Prices are a bit high, not enough sale items. They just remodeled Deli & hot food area. Soup variety is amazing & so reasonable. Very nice, clean store. Holiday decor is stunning!

Stopped in for a few missing ingredients. I was really impressed. Their salad/food bar looked amazing. I haven't been here since it switched from butera. It's so much cleaner and more organized than it ever was. The prices looked good too. We need to support these smaller markets, or they will disappear, and we will be stuck shopping at jewel.

Kind of disappointed, bakery on very lean site few loafs of bread left at 4 pm?? What is advertised on the web hot food dinner counter doesn't match what was there. Also bought mushroom uszka,what they are below expectation, lots of pasta, hardly any mushrooms. I will not go back. Not impressed

Bought a few bottles of beers. One of the bag is not doubled. They placed the beer along with other grocery, turn out the bag can't take the weight, one bottle dropped off a hole in the plastic bag and fell in my garage floor. I was quick to save the other bottle so no more damages, but had to clean up my garage of the broken glasses. I am happy we have a new polish store that opens us to more varieties. I hope they can do well. Store becomes cleaner and with more European selections, seems to have better management compared to Butera. I really like their organic produce and some healthy food/ drink section. Cashiers are not warm and welcoming, but acceptable.

The lunch/dinner specials are delicious. Lots of hot and cold salads and sides to pick from. Very clean store.

This was my first visit to Montrose Market. It has been at least a half dozen grocery stores before. The produce section was beautiful! Everything looked fresh and colorful. I bought quite a few vegetables and fruit. They also have quite a selection of boxed dried fruits, nuts, and candy. I saw several employees drop what they were doing to help customers. The deli counter had at least four people waiting for customers to help. My checkout cashier was sweet and efficient. I love efficient! Be aware many products are displayed that are not in English. I have fun trying to think what each product is!

Old store, New name but better, they have many things that Butera dont have, better service and cleaner store with much better mood in it, and now they also serve warm good food
