$5 per adult, $2 per child to tour the main house where George Washington stayed. Scavenger hunt booklet was a nice touch for kids but the museum itself didn't hold my or my daughters interest. It definitely would have been nice to hear more details from a tour guide. Art for sale was also on display with an mostly out of place African and Native American theme.
It's was an interesting experience learning about the early true history of Maryland one of its benefactors.
Definitely a must see for Laurel locals and anyone interested in history at all! They staff know so much about this little piece of land and it's so interesting to see what all has been uncovered. We also did the "hidden spaces" tour and it was incredible! Mr. Graham did an excellent job of telling stories and revealing the houses' history. We are interested in ghost tours, if they are ever offered again!
We really enjoyed touring the estate as we love history. It is a self guided tour & each room had a sign giving all the information you needed. The lady in the small gift shop was very knowledgeable & was able to answer our questions.
Had a great time with the family visiting. For a small fee you can tour the house self guided. The real plus was a scavenger hunt for the kids, something all of these types of places would benefit from. Not a long stay but an hour well spent. Note: The art center just downhill does have a few exhibits if you ask the front desk inside, buying another 20 minutes.
Visited the Herb and Tea Festival at the mansion, an annual event. Found wonderful new vendors and was able to visit some returning vendors. Very family friendly event with a lot of hands-on activities for children and adults. A nice outing.
Beautiful mansion and grounds nestled in PG County, Maryland. There’s also an arts center on the grounds that hosts pottery classes, which is awesome. Would definitely recommend this as a neat to stop by in the area (it’s also free!)!
It's a nice place to visit, walk around, learn some history and just enjoy the view

All I can say is wow! The portions for the plates are HUGE, the naan is super well made, and the lamb/chicken combo was the one of the best I've had. While both meats were fully cooked, they weren't difficult to chew or rubbery. Service was quick and

Such a cool spot, and a dynamic experience available for both Hot Pot and Korean BBQ. We personally went with just the Hot Pot this time as it was plenty enough for us! But that's really cool that you can have Korean BBQ alongside it for only $5 more
