***Original review below, adding this in as the owner COMPLETELY lied in their response. First of all I came in Sunday, not Friday as they said. NO ONE came up to me, I did not talk to a single employee, not a single other person walked in during the 10+ minutes i was there, I tried calling the restaurant while up front to see if anyone would come up and answer the phone which they did not. To say I spoke to a hostess and "agreed" is a blatant lie. No other reservations were walking in while I was there. So the "owner" either a full blown liar or too incompetent to take accountability for what happened. Very pathetic and sad to see.**** I want to preface before writing this that I was a hostess then a server for a total of 6 years and fully understand the stress of working in a restaurant especially around the holidays. I have been there before and enjoyed the food so tonight I tried to stop in to get my in laws a gift card to try it. In front of me was a door dash driver, who every staff member was being disgustingly rude to after he waited god knows how long when the food was up front the whole time sitting there but no one even cared to check. I proceeded to sit there for another 10 minutes JUST TO BUY A GIFT CARD where every staff member walked by me and did not acknowledge me. And it was not an I’m too busy lack of acknowledgment, it was so rude I cannot imagine treating a customer like that. It sucks that the food is so good but the staff is so rude I will never suggest this to anyone again or ever give them my business again. Truly a waste of a great chef and location.

Took my wife out for date night and I could not have made a better choice. Everything was superb, from the atmosphere with gentle music in the background to the wait staff and lets not forget the food. Every dsh was nicely presented and delicious. It's a BYOB so don't forget to bring along your own wine.

The service staff was amazing very polite. Even the food came out pretty fast the calamari was fried to perfection not to mention the marinara sauce on the side had its own unique tastes that complimented every bite. For main course I ordered was the prawn and shrimp pasta in a Delicious pink sauceThat was out of this world highly recommended if you are a seafood pasta lover.

My husband and I shared the poached part salad and it friend has the house salad. Both were good. For entrée I had the pescatore risotto, my husband had pasta norma (rigatoni with eggplant and tomato sauce) and our friend had the penne vodka. We all enjoyed our dishes. For dessert we all shared the lava cake. Unfortunately it was a little burnt.

This was the second time we were at this restaurant, the first time we sat near the music speaker and it was a bit too loud. Our food was very good but not as enjoyable due to the fact that it was hard to converse. The second visit we sat towards the back of the restaurant and it was much better. I had a very tasty cod that was on the specials list. This place is BYOB, considering how expensive everything is, it made going out much more affordable. We will definitely come back.

I unfortunately had a terrible experience at this restaurant and I STRONGLY discourage anyone who has any food sensitivities or allergies from going to this restaurant. I have several food sensitivities, but I tried this restaurant since they advocated for having gluten free options, advertise being farm-to-table, and advised me over the phone that they could accommodate. I went there for dinner at 7:30PM and I was not severed dinner for TWO HOURS. I advised them that I wanted my food plain without any sauces due to sensitivities the sauce. When I asked if the food was coming, I was told that they were taking extra time because they had previously made my food incorrectly with sauces. Then, when the food finally came out, it clearly had sauce all over it and had no modification. After I sent it back, I was finally given food that appeared to not have sauce. I emphasized to them that I get highly sick if exposed to any foods that I am sensitive to and asked the waitress to confirm that it was made completely plain, which she confirmed. Shortly after eating, I felt VERY ILL and realized that the meal must have contained food that I was sensitive to despite emphasizing several times these sensitivities and them alleging that it did not contain any of these foods. I asked for the meal to be taken off the bill considering the two-hour wait and the disregard for my medical needs; however, they refused to make ANY adjustment. The manager was not even willing to come to the table. I see that that the restaurant posted a response to this post, which unfortunately contained several lies and disregard for taking any responsibility for the events that occurred. I confirmed in advance that my meal could be offered without any sauce on it and after waiting for two hours, it came out with sauce on it, which I sent back. After getting the new meal, I was reassured that it did not have any cross contamination from foods that I am sensitive to; however, I got very ill. The manager refused to make any price adjustments or to even come to the table. As you can see by the company's response, they are not willing to take any responsibility for their complete disregard for my health and their completely improper service. Food allergies and sensitivities should be taken very seriously and it is very disheartening that this company has no consideration for customers' health, made no attempts to try to rectify the situation, and responds with lies about the events that occurred. This is also especially concerning considering that they are an upscale, relatively expensive restaurant. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE FROM EATING HERE. There are several other restaurants in the Red Bank area that have great customer service and that will accommodate food allergies like- Buona Serra, Semolina, and B2 Bistro.

Our waitress Altrese was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was almost completely full and she was the only waitress with one runner. My party of 4 did not want for anything. She was so attentive to us and EVERY TABLE. I’m not sure how she did it all! Besides that the food was absolutely amazing! I will certainly be back.

The food was good, service was fine. The seafood arabiata was good but the octopus was very tough. It’s difficult to cook octopus Without getting tough. Other members of our group had the 10oz filet that was good. Veal parmigiana was very good and so to was the salmon dish. The tiramisu was a bit dry without the flavor being present. It was a good meal but not a great meal all in all it was a nice meal with good food. I’m not going to rush back to this restaurant but I will be back at some point.
