Excellent tour of the house. Wonderful collection of the time period. Docent was very knowledgeable.
Enjoyed a concert on the lawn performed by the Montgomery County band. Very enjoyable, and a beautiful setting. Mansion is gorgeous, and I look forward to visiting again soon to tour the actual museum.
There on the job! Getting some tree trimming accomplished to make the grounds a safer place & ready for The Strawberry Festival.
Remarkable this goes as unrecognized as it does. This place it’s top notch.
Fabulous mansion with story-filled possessions and history of local family. Outstanding tour led by docent. Highly recommend. Thank you.
Our guide today was fantastic!! This home is filled with so much history and our guide shared many stories and interesting "bits". It's only $5.00 to tour, and we spent easily 1 1/2 hours with her! The garden is lovely, too. We highly recommend this treasure!
We feel lucky to have had Owen, a local historian who is steeped in details about the house, the family, the town, the government at the time, Civil War, and interior design of the period. Every one of us had our interest sparked by the fascinating details of the history of the place and family, its connections to President Lincoln, to the abolitionist movement, to the personal lives of the family, to Crawfordsville's folks who risked their lives to aid in the escape of slaves to freedom. Since the house remained in the family and was then bequeathed in its entirety as a museum, its interior is filled with authentic period pieces that the family used in daily living. The family's collections of memorabilia and art are left arranged in such a way that it feels intimate to move through their living space, as if they are still there, carrying on.
Very interesting mansion. Sad no one has lived in the home since 1939. Our tour guide had so many interesting tidbits to share with us. Who new why your would want a trunk with a rounded top! It's a great piece of American history

A delayed review, but they honestly have the best deals you can find. Of course it can get pricey, any firework store can, but this is the cheapest I've ever been to. Kind workers, good environment, huge selection

Took a nice trail ride then a hike on trail 3. I would not recomend this hiking trail for parents with infants, or large dogs. Their is 2 ladders that u have to climb.
This place was a fun stop on our way up to Chicago. The barista was nice and got to us pretty quickly. They had Christian worship music playing in the background and a lot of fun Bible verses on the wall. It seemed like a lot of people from church me
I discovered this place a week ago and have ordered cookies, have had their donuts, and coffee so far. Iâm so impressed with the quality of the baked goods and coffee. The service has been a pleasure every time. They are so reasonably priced too.

All-round great place! It is located in a historical building that was home to one of Indiana's first banks. Atmosphere was fantastic, and their philly cheesesteaks are the best I've had in a long time! Our server did a good job, and I got the cha
