My family and I had such a wonderful time at this ranch. The landscape was breathtaking from the little gardens of vegetables and flowers to the beautiful horses, cattle and deer that we got to see. We went to the top and was able to see the entire ranch. We spent the day on the river which was an easy walk down from the ranch. We picked up some shirts and preserves that they have made for from the produce there. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We will definitely book with the Montesino Ranch again. Can't wait for another great weekend at this location.

First of all, Montesino Ranch is a beautiful and huge property close to Wimberley. When I ran into trouble finding a venue for my concert series, they found me and offered their cool restored barn as a solution. Their foreman, Pam and the owners have been helpful and cooperative. I love this place! Let the music begin!!

I cannot say enough good things about Montesino and Pam! I work as a vendor on the property and have had nothing but amazing experiences. Pam is always more than accommodating and beyond gracious. The property is beyond STUNNING! As a guest, I've adventured around and loved every moment. The accommodations are always well maintained and welcoming. Montesino feels like a home away from home! I'm a seasoned wedding planner specializing in ranch weddings for unique couples that are looking for a special place to host their wedding weekends in the TX Hill Co. Montesino Ranch is always our first referral for venues to our couples for a number of reasons. First it's a beautiful property that's been taken care of not only by the family who owns and visits it often but also by Pam and her staff who are amazing to work with! It's also a working organic farm where you can dine under the stars, in the garden, the barn or pavilion. If you plan ahead, your caterer can utilize crops grown just for your event by the farmer - very cool! And did I mention the fresh farm eggs, firepits, kayaks and river chairs all available for your use. ||There are multiple locations to host various events onsite, the river runs through with a wonderful spot for swimming or getting married! The view from the overlook is spectacular and a really special spot to look over the entire property including where the guests will dine and dance later in the evening. Plus there's ample lodging, a glamping partner nearby and multiple Airbnb's along Flite Acres. Pam even has a private driver service to assist with family members staying offsite. ||We've had several events in the past and have several scheduled for the Fall and Spring seasons. Since it's so diverse and the couples often buy out the property for the weekend, we try create a flow that utilizes the entire place hosting rehearsal dinner, bridal luncheon, wedding and farewell brunch - all in different spots with totally unique and different vibes. ||The property can be a little bit logistically challenging if you aren't used to planning in more rural settings so be sure to hire a good planner who can navigate this. With Pam's honest and straightforward guidance you'll have an amazing experience! By the way, to those who left negative reviews on her behalf, I would just say to look closely at their complaints and know that quite certainly every detail that was complained about was covered in advance by Pam - she's a pro and I rely on her tremendously in our events. I am a little late in writing this review as my daughter and son in law were married there in November last year. The weather turned out perfect, just like Pam said it would. Everyone that works there is so kind and helpful. The wedding party stayed on premises for the whole weekend and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. Everyone had plenty of room to move around and do whatever they enjoyed. It truly is a very magical place.

As a MOB you always wish for a beautiful wedding for your children. The stress levels rise and fall . Having a wedding on Montesino Ranch , truly was the most amazing experience. Surrounded by the stunning hill country and gorgeous tree lines brought a ambience of love , faith and family. The perfect setting for a amazing union between to hearts. We truly appreciated every ounce of guidance from Pam ! She knows exactly how to alleviate your stress by guiding us in the right direction on numerous matters. From hiring the wedding planner to reassurance on the day of the event . We just had our wedding here this past weekend but had been planning it for months prior.venue is required a wedding planner but I will say it definitely helps and is much needed! Pam was incredible through out our whole time wedding planning, she allowed us to come visit the ranch anytime before hand. On the day of our wedding she was soooo sweet to us and sooo so helpful! Pam definitely helped make our day!!!
