If you are a dasher do not accept a single order. Waited 10 min in lobby. Wasn't even acknowledged. Got asked if I was going to dine in after 10 minute mark and I said no I'm a dasher. And they said oh sorry. And never got helped again until I unassigned and left. Tween at front desk couldn't be bothered.
Eh it's alright.
I don't think I can recommend this restaurant.
The staff was great, facilities clean, table clean and not sticky
It's just that the food isn't memorable nor is it a good value.
It's just,,,, alright.
Salsa is just okay. Fajitas were just okay. Rice, beans, tamales and red chili sauce was just okay.
Meh.
My first time and I'm happy. Extremely friendly to Vets on Veteran's Day. Staff is great! Food was delicious but could have used a little more seasoning. I'm quite happy I picked this restaurant and because of their gratitude for Vets, I'll be coming back. And they have Mr Beast Burgers here!!!
To be honest, this is the first I have eaten here in over 10 years. Stopped eating here because the food was mediocre at best. We decided to give it another try. Walked in, and there was no one around, peeked into the kitchen where everyone was hanging out. Was seated and then promptly waited again for our serve (about 15 minutes) who was standing at the desk talking with a waitress who was leaving. Food came out, and it was not what I expected. I wish I had taken a picture. We ate and left and will never return. Tex-Mex is not what this is.
Will not eat here again... this place needs some serious work.
We went as soon as they opened for lunch, so being too busy to clean isn't an excuse. The floor and walls are nasty. Covered in sticky food and grime. Decorations need serious attention. Yuck.
The "queso" is just velveta style can-o-cheese loaded with onions and celery. Nasty.
I ordered the steak fajitas and was sorely disappointed. I'm not sure what kind of meat they made it from, but it wasn't steak. The meat was mushy yet rubbery at the same time. It tasted like it had been taking a salt and pepper bath overnight. Disgusting.
I quit going to Monterey’s in Bartlesville about a year ago because the food was disgusting. I decided to stop in a couple weeks ago after I heard they had made some changes to the kitchen staff, I will say I was very impressed and the food was delicious! I have since been back two other times and it has been great each time!! I think it would be nice to see a new paint job in the place, it’s pretty dated but other than than great food and great service!
Love this place has always been one of my favorite for 19yrs love the white queso and the pollo Gonzales chicken w cilantro cream sauce are the bomb!!
This was our first time trying this restaurant, the most disappointing experience. I ordered a #1. The only thing right was the taco, I did not receive a tostada (just a round tortilla) the enchilada was just a tortilla rolled up with sauce on it no beef. My husband ordered a cheese enchilada and the cheese was hard on the inside, It was not edible. This was a waste of money, should've have put our $30 into the to-go cocktails they we're serving. Most disappointing restaurant, I do not recommend it to anyone.

We ordered street tacos and a supreme taco. The tacos have a good flavor. The prices are great. The carne asada was lean and good flavor. If ever in the area, I would eat here again.
