I am obsessed with this quaint little motel! I spent two nights here on an impromptu solo road trip with my pups and was so impressed by everything about it. As a female traveling alone, feeling safe is super important, and this place felt so homey, and secure! Anette at the front desk is an absolute gem - very friendly and helpful. She gave me great local recommendations and tips! The location is this really cute area surrounded by a couple other little motels, but mostly houses and small apartment buildings... so basically not at all what I expected based on my stereotype of motels and their often less-than-desirable locations. The neighborhood is great for walking dogs, which is the perfect compliment to their very reasonable pet fee (and welcome dog treats at the front desk!). It's also walkable to the little "downtown" area of the peninsula. The property is quiet and well kept; my room was super clean and had all the necessities - they do a great job at making efficient use of the space, so that and the vaulted ceilings made my king bed studio feel perfectly roomy for my two dogs and I. The bed was also super comfy and featured great pillows! Literally zero complaints - I will definitely be back!
I stayed here for one night and it was okay. The room was clean, but very very small. We had quite a high price as it was a Saturday (about $250). I have seen on less busy times the rooms are closer to $150, which I think is appropriate. $250 was steep for how small it is and the lack of breakfast and the general motel style rather than typical hotel. Overall - it was fine. Great location :)
Our stay was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The front desk was always so helpful with friendly. The room was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect as we walked to lunch one day as well as the beach and the lighthouse. If is very walkable really to pretty much anywhere. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend this place.
Nice, off the street, recently refurbished rooms. Mattress was like a bouncy house and hard to get comfortable. Pillows were really cheap.
Hot tub not hot.
The Inn is in a good location for exploring Pacific Grove. While the exterior isquite normal motel-ish appearing, interiors are well equipped and clean. Our double queen suite had a large kitchen area with table, a dresser, closet, pleasant colors, neat looking wood-look floors, and functional fireplace. The full kitchen included silverware, plates, glasses, stove, micro, fridge, and sink. The bathroom had towel racks! (Why don’t all hotels provide these?) Excellent internet. Sufficient outlets. Good lighting. Fair bathroom counterspace but additionally the unusual & convenient feature of drawers under the sink. We enjoyed a pleasant reception. Coffee is available in the lobby. The price in line with the area.||Our main complaint was water. Sink water never got warm. So we skipped morning shower just in case it was as bad. The toilet took 3-4 minutes to recover from a flush. Water use from upstairs room could be heard. Still I would certainly stay here in the future.
We stayed the n a cabin with 2 bedrooms and our stay was pretty good. The rooms are clean and smell good. The floor could have been swept better though. Our socks kept pulling up hair onto the beds. Good channels on the TV for kids. Close enough to walk to the beach. Friendly staff at the desk. The heater in the room works really well when it comes on. It didn't always come on. And the lamp between the bed wouldn't work because the mattress was too close to the wall, but it was a simple fix.
Had an amazing experience here. We stayed one night during a road trip and the sweet lady at the front desk was so helpful with recommendations in the area. Pacific Grove is a beautiful quiet area, and we were able to take a nice walk from the hotel to the beach to go tidepooling. The property is well taken care of, we wish we had more time in the area! My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was very bad, but that’s pretty standard in small hotels unfortunately. Definitely recommend!
We were very pleasantly surprised by this property. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub after a long day. It’s close to the coast, restaurants, and Monterey itself. If back in the area, we’d definitely stay here again. Being dog friendly was also a big perk!

The rooms were smaller than expected. But if you're intending to be out the whole day
This restaurant was a rather choice in urgency. We arrived quite late in Monterey thus started late on food hunting. We didn't want to drive far so we chose the one with the most guests. We got decent food in big portions at fair prices. If you are n
Great little B&B that is centrally located in Pacific Grove. Walking distance to cannery row, the aquarium and the monarch butterfly sanctuary.
The rooms were clean and everything worked well (for such an old house). We had no problems. There is a ni
A wonderful place to sit and reflect. The crashing waves are always intriguing. There is a path between several benches in the area. A great place to enjoy while on a coastal walk or bike ride.

Staff was friendly. Room had plenty of space and was remarkably quiet. Enjoyed the gas fireplace. Best part was walking to the beach. Pacific Growth is a cute town and close to everything you would want to see or do in the area. We would stay again.
