Honestly, I'm shocked this place is still in business. The refrigerator wasn't working, the floor was filthy, and there were clothes left from a previous guest. Despite all this, the price was still high. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Book ahead of time elsewhere. Thank me later.
Super friendly staff excellent low prices for rooms and in the cleanliness was immaculate there is a p a place you can eat at across the street with hot plates that they make daily and so everything is accessible right there and so it's a great place to stay in New Orleans
Motel was rather old and rundown. Dirty walls and the windowcurtain had weird stains. The bedsheets has stains aswell and long dark hairs. The safety latch was broken so we didn't really fell safe in the already shady neighborhood. For 100$ it should have been way better.
I have to give credit where credit is due. I was skeptical about the place when me and my guy came to stay. Been here four weeks now and have not had one bad experience. Yeah, more locals than tourists, but when you have no where else to go it's a good spot. Staff are friendly. Housekeeping every day. There change our sheets and make up our bed. Definitely will stay again.
The room was so dirty. Sheets were dirty. I asked for a non smoking room. But you can tell there was smoking in the room. The blanket had holes burnt in it. The artwork had burns in it. There were holes in the walls. The furniture was terribly worn out. A horrible place to stay.
Was skeptical at first just bc of previous reviews! Not bad at all for the price. Clean rooms, clean linen, bathrooms okay( good enough to hop in and out) very friendly staff. They let us check in wayyy after 3pm. It was more like 3am😂 still no issues! Super nice. They also let us their iron! staff doesn't bother you! A little busy as far as the regulars who live there. But still not noisy or problematic. They spoke and we kept it moving! No complaints would def go back! And french quarters less than 15 min away! No breakfast but duh!
The worst hotel. Locals live in the hotel.. loud. Stains and mold everywhere. Not a safe place, heard gunshots within 2 hours of falling asleep. The bed is comfortable and the people who own the place are nice. Everything else is a disaster. People were smoking crack in the parking lot and the car next to ours had all there tires gone in the morning. After all that went to take a hot shower before getting back on the road. Cold water that sprinkled... the towels covered in brown stains. So frustrating. Please if your a mom don't bring your kids here.
It was the worse experience ever! Room was hot, there were 2 big roaches that I killed in our room. A car was honking for someone for 10 minutes at 2am. Someone was stomping above us all night. People yelling at each other. Fridge didn't work. Felt very unsafe for me and my daughter. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Unless your on drugs or hooking, you will lover it. For normal people with families, please keep away unless you live on the edge n want to be killed in your sleep or have roaches crawling on you while you sleep. Worse $60 spent on a room in my 47 years of life!
