We had a large party come in at a late time on a Thursday evening, but they were open until 11pm and were able to give us a section to fit our needs.
Our server did well with being able to take care of everyone accordingly. I believe he said his name is Ian. He is knowledgeable of the menu and was also friendly. We were able to make jokes with him, and he made them back. He is a good conversationalist.
My sister-in-law said that this is her and her family's favorite restaurant and had suggested we all come here.
The food is delicious!
We enjoyed eating at this restaurant.

Got there around 5:30 on a Saturday night.. quick service.. I let the server pick one of the 2 choices I came up with and let's just say it was delicious... LoL
Mexican food is one of my go-to meals. My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Monte Alban. There was reminiscing about the mezcal we drank in our youth that bears the same name...and a worm.
I absolutley love coastal Mexican cuisine. I got the Vallarta Especial and my wife got the Diabla tacos.
Both were fantastic but the Diabla sauce was amazing!
The atmosphere is really cool. The tables have murals on them and the chairs are carved with agave plants.
There is outdoor seating but it's early April so still a little chilly to be sitting outside.

It's all good. I've never had a bad experience here. Thursday has reduced price margaritas. They're great every day in frozen glasses. The quesadilla mucho grande is a huge and tasty meal; my favorite meal that usually is also my next day's lunch.
Just opened my to go food..... cmon man fill it up. Not near enough cheese meats or vegetables. Just overloaded w. Rice. El charro is 1k % better tbh

So you want 5 star food without the pretentious atmosphere? This place has got you covered. I've never been to a restaurant with a more laid back vibe. The lighting, the music, and the staff were all warm and inviting. The food was out of this world.
Lunch time for three! Order at the counter and they bring to you. Can dine indoors or out on covered porch. Indoor dining area is tight but definitely fits a good BBQ dining spot along with decor. Barely a wait for entrees. Pulled pork sandwiche
