I went there 7/3/22 to observe fireworks. There were a big crowd of people attending. Yet it was well organized. I felt very safe cus I saw security people on the job. I use the restroom across the street it was 4 clean usable rooms to choose with no long lines.
Nice place to stay sometime in peace.
Nice place to hangout with family and watch sunset on the rivet side .
4th of July fireworks was really good. Just wish the food trucks were there.
Lovely to look at. Very peaceful.
All I can say is it was the Monroe PD that got this place a low ranking. Their job is to"SERVE and PROTECT" which I think they FAILED AT on every criterion you could use to score them. If we would fire almost all, not all, the cops in Monroe and start new with cops who have good morals and character to match, that are not ego-driven, evil, maniacal lunatics, we should get A LOT better scores in the future but I'm sure Monroe is already a lost cause when it comes to policing 🚔.
I know sometimes things happen in the city of Monroe that casts a negative light on the people and places, but overall it is a great place for eating shopping and entertainment. Get out and enjoy this event when you can. It doesn't disappoint!
we had a picnic at night. Some of the traffic was a little sketchy lol. But in all the area was clean and we seen they did have camera surveillance so that made us feel a bit more safe.

Man, oh, man. When I think of good food and where I should travel to eat good food, Monroe, Louisiana, doesn't even crack the top 100 on my list. But after eating at Parish, Monroe is in my top five! Hidden away in an industrial area, Parish comes up
Our kids (ages 11 & 7) really enjoyed our quick visit to this awesome military and aviation museum! First of all itâs totally FREEâ¦.canât beat that! Secondly the staff were so friendly and walked us around each room, answering questions and sho
Just had a quick hour to spend, and glad we did! There was a program promoting hunting and fishing while we were there, so it was pretty loud and busy. But one of the park attendants caught us and filled us in on where to go for the short hour we had
Came here for some grilled oysters after a disappointing stop at another spot. Place was very nice. Great view of the river. Great service and the oystersâ¦. Chefs kiss! The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was bomb too!
Place is usually easy to get in and out of. Frozen meals make busy days' dinner easy. Better than frozen grocery store, not quite homemade. Bakery items are always fresh and good.
This is about the only place in Monroe that you can find hot tamales. There is another place but they don't stay open year round. We have been eating at Southside Coney Island for triple digit years. Yes try them out. You won't be disappointed.
We just popped into Okaloosa for a cocktail and an appetizer and ended up spending a couple hours there and having a full family meal. Payton and Emma took care of our party of 9 people perfectly. We loved the Rock Start martini, the meatballs, and t
