Ordered the purple monkey alcohol drink and monster burger. They were okay, nothing special. The burger could use more of that special sauce. It was still a decent burger to fill the belly but nothing memorable. The alcohol drink was also mid. I got it because it was advertised on the menu and it sounded interesting. Service was also mid, there were times that my server would disappear for awhile when I needed another refill.
We had a nice lunch here. The cheese curds were good and a half order was good for three people. The kids meal was served on a frisbee, which you can keep. But the other meals were served on paper or a paper boat. Even the silverware was plastic. I've never been served a burger on wax paper and it was odd. But the burger was good. The Cubano was better. The first floor has a cool atmosphere.
Dropped in to see if they did gluten free burgers. They did a pretty good job. Also had to have the side salad as the fries were not gf. Crazy in there though. Still we would go back for a burger.
Excellent service, the food was ok. However the atmosphere was unique in this place, reasonable prices also. Would come again here if in the area.
The food here is amazing, and it wasn't super busy. We were seated right away. I had the "It's all gouda burger" and my partner had the "bacon cheeseburger". Both were fantastic and the fries were crisp and warm. Our server Drea was attentive and nice.
Sports bar and Burgers Menu is pretty much Burgers. Not too many other choices. Our waitress sounded like a robot on repeat which was annoying because it ruined our dining experience. I got Brisket Burger with a fried pickel and a loaded bloody Mary. Both were good. Awesome Ranch sauce. Wish we got to enjoy our meal more.
We live locally and usually really enjoy Monks. The service was good but our food today left a lot to be desired. Overall small portions and they didn't even give us some to eat off of, instead the food came out on a piece of wax paper....really? Here is a picture of a $15 burger and fries, very small and tasteless.
Monks restaurant in Wisconsin Dells is an absolute gem! We’ve been coming here each year for more than 8 years! With its outstanding food and delightful ambiance, it's a must-visit for any food lover. The cheese curds here are unparalleled, undoubtedly some of the best in town and the marina is homemade and delicious. Their burgers are awesome and flavorful, and the Cubano sandwich is a great too. Portion sizes are big and price is reasonable. Not only is the food top-notch, but the service is also excellent, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Shout out to Brandina and the hostess for great service with a smile. From the moment you step in, you'll be greeted with warmth and attentiveness. Monks restaurant truly knows how to leave a lasting impression. Highly recommended for a casual family dinner at the Dells!
