Super impressed with this spot. Ordered our food and within 5 mins it was at our table. Delicious, cooked right, every thing we asked for and large portions. We order the pulled pork huevos racheros and breakfast tacos, SO good. Customer service was on point, we saw a table leave and within 60 seconds there was 4 different staff all helping to clean the table and get it ready for the next guests. I love the aesthetic and vibe, it felt like home and comfortable yet very chic and modern while adding some pops and color here and there. Parking is tight but there is plenty of parking on the street. Highly recommend. 5/5 stars.
I'm not going to lie, at first I was actually excited that my Fiance picked an awesome bruch spot since I only get to see him every other weekend due to his busy work schedule it was supposed to be a treat for us both. We were greeted by the sweetest Young Person who gave us menus and advised us to sit anywhere we wanted. The decor was so cute and welcoming, even though it had mismatched chairs and silverware, it still felt like home. The downside is you have to give your order at the counter and then you're given a table number and its brought out to you. I wanted a waffle so bad and my fiance loves skillet meals. He ordered our food as I sat and said my morning prayers, being interrupted by him to make sure my order was correct lol. Our food came out and I received the roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausage. I waited for my waffle to come, but Instead I received a pancake. When I advised our server of the mistake, she advised the guy behind the counter who took the order and our money of the issue and to his reply "they ordered a pancake, well if they want a waffle we can change it".....(side eye).
His response to his own error baffled me and I couldn't even eat anymore. The potatoes were hard and undercooked and I just didn't and could not enjoy the rest of my meal, either could my fiance, so we asked for to go plates and went somewhere else. I took the food home to my kids and to my surprise they didn't even want it either. Hopefully your experience is better then ours but we will never go here again.
Came here on a whim. Absolutely was not disappointed. This big open room is not fancy, the chairs don’t match. All the chandeliers are different and it looks like it was thrown together at the last minute. Then you get your food. I don’t know what magic they use to pack so much flavor in these tasty dishes. The food, the decor, or even the building is not what makes this place special. It’s the staff, they hire at risk youth to give them life skills and prepare them for life.
Presentation of chilaquiles outstanding Very colorful plate . But Needed more flavor. Yes the salsa was good and a bit spicy but had to add some salt on it. The tortillas were so hard and crunchy it was like I was eating chips with salsa . Wouldn’t order this plate again. The burritos on the other hand are the best. I recommend trying any of the specialty burritos. Can’t go wrong with that. The bowl of tater tots ! Super flavorful and the toppings are a perfect combo !
Cute little spot for breakfast. Everything I have had has been delicious. Good chilaquiles, breakfast burritos, and breakfast skillet. They offer non dairy Creamer options which I appreciate.
The workers are extremely caring, this restaurant has deep community roots, serving many aspects beyond food. Sure the chandeliers don’t match, tables don’t match, and chairs don’t match, making one wonder if they thrifted the whole restaurant…The FOOD however, does not fall short of what you’d expect to be there for you on a perfect mellow Sunday morning. The food taste clean, their ingredients, as I found out reading about their story on their brochure as I ate, is grown by local farmers who partner with the workers. The chicken doesn’t use hormones or antibiotics, they have fresh fruit, overall food I didn’t feel bad about eating, it felt clean.
Great location, great ambiance, great service, great food.
Thanks :)
I recently visited Monkey Business Cafe for breakfast and had a fantastic experience. The cafe was not busy for 9am on a weekday, and we were promptly greeted by the friendly staff. We ordered 2 chilaquiles, one without protein and one with chorizo, a side of home style potatoes, and one order of pancakes. The food took around 10-15 minutes to come out, it was well worth the wait.
The chilaquiles were absolutely delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the green chilaquiles - they did not disappoint! The side of home style potatoes was also very tasty and the pancakes were fluffy and satisfying. The total cost for our meal was between $50-60, which was a bit steep, but we felt that it was worth it for the quality of the food.
The service was great overall. The staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel welcomed throughout our visit.
Non profit restraunt that serves great food at a good price!!! Went for brunch today and it was so yummy!
Parking is always difficult, but well worth the park and walk!
Stroller friendly, but I would recommend leaving outside or in the car as space is limited.
Wheelchair friendly.
High chairs provided.
I recommend sharing the pancake platter and going for one of the more unique items as your main meal.
It was a good value!

Amazing atmosphere and great coach. I've only been training for 4 months now at the gym but I feel like I learned a lot thanks to coach Isaac. Everyone's friendly and willing to teach.
So blessed to be able to train at Ethos. Grateful for all the awesome coaches, meeting great people to train with, and learning good jiu jitsu in a healthy culture gym. The coaches genuinely care for the students, the kids, and their parents. It's be
