Monical's Pizza - Pizza restaurant in Woodruff - 360 US-51, USA

We have been coming here about twice a year for over 15 years. Finally, I decided to post a review. I love pizza, and this is my favorite. It needs to be the thin and crsipy crust though...don't bother with the pan pizza. You also need to start with the family salad. It is simple but always cold and fresh! Their french dressing is also the best! I can not speak for anything else on the menu, as I always get the pizza. They also have a good selection of beers on tap. It is a smaller place with limited seating, so not ideal for a large party. Enjoy!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and it’s still to this day the best pizza I’ve ever had. Dave Portnoy would easily rate this in the 9’s on his scale. If you like thin crust pizza you need to try these pies. Because this place sells the best pizza around you might have to wait a little to get a seat. That alone should tell ya this place is good. But a small wait with a bloody or beer from their great bartending staff is a small price to pay for the pizza that awaits you.

Monical's Pizza is fantastic! The pizza is great, our favorite is the thin crust. The pizza only takes about 15 minutes to come out, and is really tasty. The atmosphere feels a lot more like an up north bar, they have a bar where you can get drinks and eat if you'd like. Otherwise there are nice views out across the lake in the dining room. If you aren't into the atmosphere, no worries because you can just get the pizza to go (which we do often)! Highly recommend this place to anyone, it's a town favorite!

This local hangout had a nice selection of food on the menu. It is a bar in the front with tables in the back overlooking the lake. The thin crust is really thin. The sauce had good flavor. I really liked that I could get a decent priced pizza for one person. As others have said, it is a little loud. Be prepared to wait for s table at dinner time. This is not a fast food joint, but worth the wait.

Pizza was fantastic.. probably one of the best super thin crust pizzas I ever had, great friendly staff & Great prices. Edited returned on July 15 Arrived on a Friday evening at 5pm. Place was packed with people. We were told about a 45min wait. In 20 min we were seated. Pizza wait time was just enough time to eat our huge family salad. Pizza was fantastic. Super thin crust. Large Deluxe Pizza with extra Jalapeños, large family salad for about $30 You cant go wrong eating here.. go early or late to miss the crowds.. but do go.. They have gluten free crusts and total vegetarian options if needed. Wheel chair accessible entrance. Hightops in the bar area where you can eat as well as the bar during rose really busy times. Great views of the water as well.

Food 5 stars Service 0 stars Pizza has a unique flavor that we like and has a crispy cracker crust that just makes it taste so good. Every time we are in the area we always make it a point to get a pizza. This is the second time in a row that we’ve gone to Monical’s Pizza and the people working make it seem like we are inconveniencing them. The older woman who was taking names for the list and yelling names to seat people seems angry all the time. We stood at the host stand for about five minutes as employees walked past numerous times (the older woman walked past us three times) without anyone acknowledging that we were there. A simple, “We’ll be right with you,” is usually suffice. If we hadn’t been to Monical’s Pizza before we would have been wondering if we were standing in the correct location. I think we’ll get the pizza to go from now on.

Had garlic bread with mozzarella cheese for an appetizer. Was not impressed. Tasted very generic, right out of the freezer into a toaster over. Bread was not crispy, in fact soft and almost soggy. Had a thin sausage and mushroom pizza. Crust was very thin and crispy!! Delicious!!! Sauce and sausage was very tasty. Will definitely return for the pizza but not the garlic bread!! Server was not overly friendly...she was busy...but attentive.

The pizza and the was pretty good, but the wait staff is lacking. Let’s just say the wait staff all really like their cell phones. It’s slow season and I still had to leave my table to attempt to get a drink refill. 🤦‍♂️
