Monical's Pizza - Pizza restaurant in Normal - 1219 S Main St, USA

Driving through Bloomington on our return home from St. Louis and we couldn't pass up Monical's. Got a side salad and personal pizza to go - both were excellent, as we've always come to expect. I believe that we heard that this location was the spot where the very first Steak 'n Shake opened, but did not confirm this.

My go to pizza spot when I'm visiting Bloomington, reasonably priced , clean environment, and great pizza.

Nice simple place with Italian style food and more than fair prices. Not for pizza only! Very friendly staff. Decent size portions ( actually, I got full with half of the salad and half lasagna). Open till 9 pm. Thank you for that. At 5 pm on Sunday the restaurant was half full. Good place to come with your family and friends.

Amazing experience! We were driving through and ordered ahead. The staff had our starters already set up at a table when we arrived. Friendly staff and awesome pizza, some of the best I’ve had in some time. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

I ordered the pepperollies that were enjoyed by family members who were patients in the hospital. I also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. I was not as excited about the meatballs that tasted freezer burned and reheated in a microwave. I have enjoyed Monical's pizza many times over the years and was not a fan of the meatballs. Also, if you offer takeout, you should really keep plasticwear available for the customers. I was able to get a fork. However, no knife was available. It's kind of difficult to eat spaghetti and meatballs without cutting them up to eat.

My first time here. Best pizza I've ever had. Crispy thin crust with alittle chew. Just wonderful! Thankyou!

This is the worst monical’s I’ve ever been to. They got our order wrong twice over, and our waitress took far too long to get anything done. The food itself was good, and so was the decor, but that’s a given with monical’s. The whole place reeked of unprofessionalism. Even down to the little things, the back room’s door being wide open, an exit sign being almost ready to fall off the ceiling. Etc. overall this place kinda fell flat. Probably will not eat here again. Instead try the one out by Monticello!

Pizza is great. Tip the delivery guy 5.50 and and he looks at me like that's it? Doesn't even say thank you. It's 5 blocks from the restaurant. Should gave him a dmack in the mouth instead of a fin
