WOW, just WOW. What an incredible park! I can't believe all the amazing things here! So many fun things to do at this park, and this is just phase 1.more to come. There is perfect size every thing for kids include: monkey bars, swings, slides, playground, and so much more. Just take a look at my videos! Bathrooms are right next to the park and are Super nice! This place even has a huge tree house that the kids can play in. The only downside is that you have to pay to park! But is cheap and all the money goes to pay for the next phase of the park!
I never miss our local farmers market on Saturday mornings 8-12 if I’m in town! The park is clean and is a full mile lap if you take the outer trail, but also has the option to go in the back through the woods. In the Spring, the wildflower preserve blooms and is absolutely stunning! So many local activities are held here, and it’s truly a gem of a park.
Well maintained, large park with walking trails, playground, free little library, and things to sit on under live oak and around the pond.
A very lovely park to have a family outing. Nice playground equipment and the children love the treehouse!
On previous visits, I had not had the opportunity to view the Veteran’s Memorial Park. A very nice and peaceful dedication to all of the men and women that have served our nation.
An absolute pleasure. We brought 64 first graders and nearly 70 kindergarteners and had an amazing experience. The staff was beyond helpful every step of the way and it was so nice to have such a diverse and safe park in which to play. Louisiana needs more places like this!
Beautiful park with excellent landscaping. They did a great job creating a space for everyone. There is a large playground for kids, some nice elevation change with some hills, and a really cool water feature with the pond. Looking forward to further development of this park.
Beuatiful park, splash pad, playground, there's a House in a tree lovely for the kids. Clean bathrooms. The parking is not free but is really cheap. Nice place to bring our kiddos.
This park is amazing! Literally has something for everyone, any age and nearly any activity you could think of. From picnics to yoga, walking, hiking, dog park and kid’s playground to yoga as well as discovering a variety of plants and trees. There’s live music occasionally, farmers market on the weekend and many other adventures to explore on one of the many trails of the beaten path! This is a must visit for anyone visiting or living in Lafayette!
Park is very clean and maintained. Even with several other visitors it was quite and peaceful. The doggie pick up bags located around the park are a nice touch.
As a complete newbie, walking in the lights were dim, it was quiet, the room was warm. I drove from ville platte so walking in after the drive was warm and welcoming. Magan was in the lobby waiting with a smile, she walked me through signing in, sho
I stopped in for a class here with my friend and I can NOT wait to go back! It was so much fun and an EXCELLENT Workout. The staff was so encouraging and didnât make me feel weird if I couldnât do certain things due to limitations with my arm. I
