Monarca Queen - Restaurant in Medford - 940 N Central Ave, USA

We stopped here for lunch on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. This place is easy to miss if you're not looking for it, but once inside you will be in for a treat. The menu is deep, almost too deep, really, but the food is outstanding. My wife had a chicken mole burrito that had the best mole sauce that either of us has had in years. My pork burrito was good, but I have to say that the pork was dry and chewy, not like an oven roasted pork shoulder that is fall-apart tender. Will we give Monarca Queen another shot? Hell yes!

Ordered lunch on Uber Eats, I've been comparing different Birria and consomme. The quesabirria was a little small for the price, and didn't have the flavor profile I was hoping for. I did enjoy the beans, rice, and Birria Tacos which had better flavor than the quesabirria. Consomme was average...

1st time here, and it was one of the best places I’ve eaten at. Very authentic and friendly staff. I had the Burria tacos yum! And my kids enjoyed their food. We will definitely be back with more family. We’re not from here but happen to travel here often, so this is definitely a new go to spot for us now. Thank you!

This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. The dishes are fresh. They have an array selection of dishes, from Mexican, American and desserts 🍮. The vegetarian 🌱 options available too. For all the Coca Cola🥤, lovers, they have diet, classic and real glass bottle cola for that real sugar high. The service was great and not a long wait for our dishes to come out. Prices are fair, but the churros might set you back more than Disneyland. However, well worth it!

I've ordered from here every other week (used to order here weekly) for about 2-years now. Their best items: Multitasking De Birria, Tamales (Puerco), Nachos I have only had 1 bad experience (big bone in carnitas taco) but I've ordered here at least about 100 times by now and have only had this 1 bad experience)

I love this place, I went there by myself and ordered 3 tacos, they were great and I left only to return 30 minutes later because I dropped $100 out of my pocket, when I returned and was looking in my booth they asked me what was wrong, when I told the extremely nice man I had lost my money he said no you didn’t I have you’re money and gave it all to me, what a great experience, thank you

I’ve only had the food via DoorDash, so I can’t comment on the atmosphere in the restaurant, but most of the food I have ordered has been outstanding and at a great price. The food I wasn’t flattered with I’ll attribute to my personal taste since my partner liked it. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Excellent food! More market/deli vibe than restuarant but there is more than enough seating. Staff is kind and attentive. Pollo de la crema is an excellent choice and they MAKE TORTILLAS IN HOUSE! Most authentic Mexican meal I've experienced on this side of the border... Actually ever! Hands down best Horchata; thick, creamy and textured while allowing both rice and cinnamon flavors to thrive!
