Mon Delice - Bakery and Cake Shop in New Smyrna Beach - 557 E 3rd Ave, USA

Quite literally some of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life! Made to order on freshly baked French bread, simply cannot be beaten. Of course, the main attraction is their bakery. Walking through the door almost transports you straight to France with the scents and sights of their traditional pastries. From delicious, puffy eclairs, to the creamiest of cheesecakes, they do it all and do it well. This place has been my most visited and highest recommendation in the area for the last twenty years, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

I ordered a cake a week before we traveled to New Smyrna from Virginia and it was perfect! Everyone loved it and made my husband's 50th birthday complete. We stay in NS for a week every year and I will absolutely order from Mon Delice again! They made everything so easy and they were so nice when I picked it up. Thank you!!

This is one special place with reminders of France. The owner is from there and his delicacies show it. Everything there is made with love and care and is beyond fantastic - a real treat. The staff is so very friendly and accommodating. While on vacation here, we have tried everything just about from their incredible breakfast sandwiches; French Onion Soup; chocolate peanut butter bars; brownies, eclairs, and from right out of France their macaroons. I can’t tell you how incredible, melt in your mouth delicious everything is.

Fantastic bakery. Fresh and delicious. While we may have started coming here for the baked goods, their sandwiches are the best kept secret in New Smyrna Beach!

Visited this place on a whim about 2 weeks ago after I saw it while sitting in the starbucks parking lot. It did not disappoint, and I visited today again! I’ve tried their sandwiches and a few of the pastries so far. Everything is so good. The pressed sandwich is 100% crave-able, I believe it’s the fresh bread that makes it so much tastier and brings it to another level. It also comes with a house vinaigrette sauce which I like to pour or dip the sandwich as I eat. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. I will have to make a stop here every time I come around.

This place was delice’ious! I loved the chocolate peanut butter bars & the key lime pie, they were both very fresh, and flavorful. I thought I may be over paying at first glance but after I took my first bite, I had no regrets! The staff was very nice to me and quickly got me in and out. I’d recommend popping them in the freezer first and enjoying your snacks later 🤪

Our extended family was heading out of town the day after Christmas. We were so excited to try this place. Walking in, it was delightful to see the beautiful pastries. Almost immediately that feeling faded. The people behind the counter were outright rude. The one who served us seemed to resent that we asked for 9 breakfast sandwiches. She huffed to the back and re-emerged to inform us she only had eggs for 4. No problem, some of us will have lunch sandwiches. Giving our orders, I asked for dijon. She said, “do you want dressing on the side”? I asked, “do I want dijon on the side”?She was visibly irritated that I didn’t know they make their own dressing, and huffed again to explain it to me. She left to fill our order and we looked to see what else we wanted. The second woman was serving others, so my son got in line to buy his own pastries. The woman assumed because he was part of our group that he had already been helped, so she ignored him and served everyone else. We finally got everything we wanted and left to eat our sandwiches outside. No place to sit, but we stood under a corner of the roof saying our goodbyes and munching our delicious sandwiches. Then I got a better look at the lettuce in mine. It was not only old, brown, and wilted, but there were the parts of lettuce no one can eat. Did she use those parts because she was upset with me? Or were they all just pissed to be working the day after Christmas? Way to ruin a great sandwich. Our group spent well over $100 and everyone loved the food, but we are never going back.

Must Stop in NSB! Everything we have ever purchased here is AMAZING! Croissants, Sausage roll, Cream Horns, Cinnamon Rolls, cookies….the list goes on! Never have had a wait and everything always tastes fresh & delicious!
