Murray is wonderful, accommodating and kind, the cabins are clean and comfortable, quiet and private. The location is amazingly convenient, walk just a minute and you are on main street! We've stayed there before and will absolutely go back.

This is my second stay at moms motel. First time over 10 Yeats ago. I love the quiet street it sits on. The rooms or should I say little cottage arevsmall but cozy. Rooms clean and nice having a doorway from main room to bedroom. Location to downtown chelan is nice and convenient. It's quiet clean and the price is right.

Decent place. It's clean, but the rooms are very small. The bathroom was tiny. No breakfast at all. We did enjoy the picnic table out front. Overall, I expect more for 140 USD per night.

My girlfriend and myself decided to visit Lake Chelan last minute this week. We usually stay at resort like places. Everything was booked up so we looked at motels. I booked this based on other reviews. The owner Murray is a darling man. He is gentle and allowed us to view our room to make sure we liked it. When we first drive up we were hesitant as many of the patrons were outside and it was busy. We assumed perhaps there would be some drinking and noise but there was not a peep. Everything was respectful. We were grateful for the AC. Our room had two beds separated by a wall and door. The bedding and towels were beautiful.. hotel style and super comfy pillows. We used the fridge and freezer (tip bring cooler bag & ice packs as you don’t want to leave wine in the car with the high heat). This location is fantastic.. walk to town. It’s safe and super quiet. The building is old but immaculate inside. We really enjoyed our three night stay.

Since Lake Chelan is a vacation destination, rooms can be expensive. So, being budget travelers, we decided to give Mom's a try. Mom's is currently run by Murray, who does a great job of keeping everything well maintained. Our unit was a 2 room suite with a double bed and kitchenette in one room and a queen in the other with a bathroom off the queen bedroom. The queen bed was very comfortable. There was a microwave and refrigerator as well as some plates and utensils. The place was immaculately clean and, even though it looks like a 50's property, everything is kept looking new and freshly painted. The location is in a residential area a block off the main street so very quiet. Murray was a great host, giving us tips for places to eat and telling us about his new interest in bee keeping. I highly recommend this place--excellent value and it Murray makes you feel right at home.

We stayed in Room #6. It was very clean. We like the fact the appliances had a very 50s feel but everything worked. They don't built them like that anymore. The two beds in the room wasn't too soft. The room had an attached kitchen area with a fridge and microwave. Two in-window AC units was enough to cool the room. All the drains work. Only gripe was the size of the shower enclosure. If you're a big guy, it might be a snug fit. I'm 5'10" and it was a little tight for me. Overall though, beats staying in a room at a big establishment. And Murray is the nicest guy!
