We loved this spot just good country breakfast. My husband loved their Chicken Fajita Omelette. I got the Fat As A Tick plate that I didn't finish lol but was so delicious. First off let's get into all the bacon they gave me 4 when im use to only 2 strips if I'm lucky and 2 sausage links 😍. Them pancakes were on point as well. Also their Orange Juice was so good I had 2 whole glasses and 1 to go. Definitely will be coming back.

I can’t believe I drove by this little gem so many times without realizing something was there! I found it online and we decided to take a family friend. We were torn between the steam table and the menu but decided to order off the menu. Soooo many great options. The breakfast options were way better than any other breakfast place and they are huge! I was craving fries so I decided to go with the Yardbird, which was a really great choice for me. I was skeptical about the aioli that came in the sandwich but it was really good! Crystal was just the best. She took such good care of us! Jon Michael was so welcoming when we first walked in. I will definitely be back here more. Especially now that I know it’s in my neighborhood! It’s a pretty busy place but they seem to accommodate everyone very well in a decent amount of time. It does feel like a mom’s kitchen!

A quaint down-home restaurant serving american comfort foods. There's a food bar when you walk in and you get to pick from several main dishes with paired sides. The price for the serving was good. The food was good and the service was very friendly. If you like things like chicken and dumplings, beef and onions, chicken fried chicken, paired with red beans and rice or homemade mashed potatoes, definitely stop by here, you won't be disappointed.

Fresh hot delicious options! My first time here and I got the chicken fried steak! It did not disappoint! Perfectly cooked and seasoned! The sides were amazing and the perfectly southern country made! Staff is very welcoming, so sweet and attentive! A gem here in Houston! Will def come back!

First time ever here, was absolutely amazing and delicious great portions and even better taste I had the chicken fried chicken and shrimp, with a side of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese all of it was wonderful definitely coming back some other time.

I have been here quite a few times and was always satisfied with the food, unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The chicken fried chicken was way overcooked, and the navy beans had so much salt that I could not eat them. The cornbread was hard and bland, and my wife's fried fish was also overcooked. We arrived a bit after lunch, so the food should not have tasted like it was cooked yesterday, but most if it seemed that way. The staff was nice and tried to satisfy us with alternatives so I gave them credit for that. Might not be coming back anytime soon though. Follow up: Mom reached out to me and apologized and refunded my money for the experience. I have to say, this gesture was much appreciated. It goes to show that many places do care about the customer and try to make things right when satisfaction is less than desirable. Thanks mom 😊

Good not great in my opinion. The food really wasn't as good as it was cracked up to be Everyone recommended the Chicken Fried Steak so that's what I got and to be honest it was good but fairly tough. I was expecting with all the good reviews it would be extremely tender but it wasn't. I would say other than that, I enjoyed myself and that staff was by far 5 stars all around! Everyone was friendly and did everything they could to help me!
