Collared greens and grits blew my mind. The biscuits and gravy also great. Decent coffee. Fun self-serve atmosphere that works. Super casual and just a great spot for breakfast. Update: I went back again on day 3 of my trip to NOLA. Got the collared greens and grits again and tried the carrot yogurt (amazing too!). All so good. Go!
We stopped here for breakfast on a Friday morning while in New Orleans for a friend's birthday. My husband and I were up early so we got there right around 8am when they were opening. There were a few other early birds already seated and a couple of people in line ahead of us, but we were able to order basically straight away. My husband had the grand slam mcmuffin and i ordered the roasted carrot yogurt. All the reviews are correct, the carrot yogurt is delightfully bizarre and delicious! I would try to find a way to make it for myself at home but it honestly seems like a lot of work so I will just have to come back next time I am in New Orleans.
The biscuit with fried chicken gravy and a fried egg on top is the perfect way to start your day. Especially if you want a hardy meal but also something that feels like you'll be full but not over stuffed that you can't move. The fresh orange juice was great...best spot that felt like it really freshly squeezed the juice that morning.
It's definitely a unique experience. You order at the front desk and seat yourself and help yourself with your own cutlery, napkins, and water. Food is brought out to you. Now let me begin by saying the breakfast sandwich was amazing! I wish i had gotten 2! The chicken sandwich was okay.
This place was recommended to us by our hotel and we had seen it in a few blogs. Located in the Garden District this neat place offers a short list of breakfast/ brunch items. My wife ordered their tamale and I ordered their carrot yogurt dish. We were both disappointed in the lack of flavour in the food. Very bland. The staff was actually very kind. They let us order and sit while they were minutes from closing. They explained to us their concept and recommends us a few dishes. The atmosphere is nostalgic for those born in the 80s and has a very chill vibe. Very clean and organized. Overall, if you’re not in the immediate area I would not recommend to make a special trip. However if you happen to be enjoy the Garden District pop on it and take a trip down memory lane. Maybe skip on the food.
When you want to eat well ask a restaurant you love for other restaurants to love. So, thanks Lengua Madre for the delicious breakfast suggestion. Molly’s is sweet and delicious. Fun and creative. The coffee is yum, the breakfasts are creative with lots of different options and there it kitsch everywhere. The lines move so don’t worry and enjoy.
If you like a vintage atmosphere and excellent food then you definitely need to try this place out!! The biscuits are amazing and you should try the fresh orange juice!! It really is such a cute place. We will be back for sure just like the decor brought us back to our childhood!
Loved everything about here. I had the grand slam substituted with an egg and it was perfect. The ratio of everything, the perfect grill on the onions, and I always appreciate when my food comes out so steaming hot you have to fight to chew the first bite but it's so worth it. The query decor and gorgeous mural on the wall gives it such a fun atmosphere and the staff were incredibly nice. Highly recommend!

Sweet Baby Jesus, this place is amazing ð The food is authentic, fresh, and very affordable. I demolished the beet salad, the pierogis, and the nutella & banana blini. Phenomenal food with no attitude.

This was one of my favorite museums during my visit. I learned so much. Didn't know about the free People of Color in Louisiana. Imagine if they had been allowed to thrive... how different America would be today.
