Best sandwich I’ve had in Contra Costa county. I’m from Modesto so I haven’t had too many in contra costa county so take it with a grain of salt. Regardless it’s a decadent sandwich check it out.

This place was real nice to eat several months ago I recently took my girlfriend to have lunch, The guy that was making our philly cheesesteak sandwiches was not too friendly he took 25 minutes to make our food and halfway through he stopped and started helping customers at the register he never washed his hands or changed his dirty gloves he just went back to making our sandwich’s. I told him that was not cool and good for no one’s health he needs to wash his hands and start fresh. when we finally got our sandwiches it tasted like a pile of greasy unseasoned meat with mayonnaise no vegetables or cheeses this is the last time we pay $25 bucks for a nasty meal.

Philly cheese extra spicy!!! Worth the wait (~15min) for this masterpiece. Always friendly staff. They literally have everything you could need at this convention store as well.

Let me start by saying everyone is super friendly. I ordered the Philly it was fantastic. I also ordered the Blt with all the veggies and its also amazing. This is definitely my new favorite sandwich shop. I have lived in the area for over 3 years , I am kicking myself knowing this place has been around the corner . from me

Always seems like there is a long line even though there's only a couple of customers there. And don't buy things that aren't marked with the price... The "price check" involves calling the owner at home and sending them pictures

I haven't had Sal's sandwich, but I'm sure they are good. However, Sal is no good - doesn't pay his bills and very unethical. Owes me over$9,000! If you can help it, please do not do business with Sal, and if you're an employee, I'd try find another job, as I'm not sure he'll pay.

I was in the neighborhood and stumbled upon this hidden gem in Martinez!. I had a look around the place and it was very clean, organized and the aroma of the sandwiches were enticing and it lead me to order a sandwich. The sub I ordered was not comparable to other delis, it was very well put together and included fresh turkey, veggies and fresh bread. I can taste the quality and it I appreciated the cleanliness. I look for that in deli’s especially during this Covid era. The sandwiches were great but the excellent customer service was an added bonus. Thanks Mollys Market! Be back soon!
