So many choices to try at the Krates, definitely glad we tried here first. Meal was GREAT and affordable. Chicken was juicy, empanadas were steaming hot, and beans were to brag about!! Staff was very polite and happy to answer my questions about the menu. Don’t forget the margaritas!!

Awesome spot and even better food! Great vibes, cultural staff and drinks are strong 💪🏾 Steak is very flavorful, rice is cooked beautifully and the cuban slaw is definitely unique. One if the best places to eat food at the Krate, hands down 🤙🏾

Good good and music on point. Kinda empty though. But it was a Monday. My first time eating cuban plantain nachos💪💪💯

Owners are very nice. I had the ropa vieja (shredded beef) bowl and it was SO good! Full of flavor. Cute shop & great passion fruit juice.

Came in for lunch during a medium busy time, wanted to try the nachos and pork. Seated ourselves inside and waited 30 mins for food that was ice cold and so soggy it was limp. Owner argued that he couldn't find us (there are like 5 tables inside the place) but he would remake our meal, 20 mins later and still no food. We asked for a refund and no replacement of food, owner clearly didn't know how to work the system. This process took nearly 30 mins in itself. We really wanted to like the food as everything looked like it had potential but the experience was awful and haven't gone back since.

The pulled pork was good, but the chicken was very dry. The fried plantains were excellent. What I didn’t like was despite having only 5 orders, it took us 30 minutes to get a lunch meal. I wish the service could have been quicker, but the two ladies were very friendly and courteous. The rating is more for the time it took to serve us, not for the food or the courtesy of the friendly staff.

traveling South from GA. & stopped to check out KRATE. We ate at MGLF. Oh my, what fabulous food! Ridiculously fresh and flavorful! We had the Vaca frita bowl w/cilantro rice and blk beans. Delish! We tried the chicken AND beef empanadas. Yummy! Finally the Cuban is to die for. Go, go, go see Luis! His food will make you happy.

Dropped in today while exploring the krates and was not disappointed! Delicious food and such a lovely restaurant! Staff was extremely friendly as well. The plantain nachos were out off this world. Was a little disappointed in the Tampa cuban for the price it was but other than that I’d definitely recommend!
