This motel was absolutely lovely to stay in! We came in August and happened to be the only ones there that night, so it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Comfortable bed, good AC, great shower, fun record player, and beautiful sort of zen garden with a koi pond. Easy to book and check in/check out. Highly recommend!
We love staying here. This is our second stay here and it does not disappoint. Details are everywhere with the mid century modern decor and record player (huge selection of records to enjoy too!) We stayed in the largest room last time and it was worth it. This place is like a compound with a huge metal gate, it’s super secure and super private! Your car is inside the gate and this is apocalypse ready 😂 It’s very dark and very quiet at night if there aren’t other guests. I intentionally try to book on weekdays so it’s not too busy but either way we never heard or were disturbed by anyone. The owner personally texts you to give you details and she is so kind and accommodating with any questions. They have a koi pond that my service animal is obsessed with. He loves to walk near it and observe the fish as they swim to greet him. It’s bougie but eclectic and it’s unique enough for those IG photos without being weird at all. Love this place! We will def be back for a third time and many more times when we want to escape humans and be out in the wilderness yet still come back to a cozy pretty place to sleep!
My stay at the motel was an absolute delight. Imagine unwinding in a peaceful haven, perfect for a rejuvenating weekend escape.||The property boasts a charming gated courtyard, adorned with sculptures, cacti, and the gentle sounds of the koi pond with a fountain. This oasis offers a multitude of cozy nooks, inviting you to connect with fellow travelers or simply lose yourself in a good book with a cup of coffee in hand.||Rooms|Suite 5 offered a generous living area, complete with a kitchenette and a truly expansive bedroom featuring a unique outdoor shower. There were a few issues with the bathroom though - Limited toiletries storage: While convenient countertop space was at a minimum, the bathroom did not have an area to store my toiletries. It would be ideal to have a hook or a set of shelves for a guest to use. For guests staying in Suite 5 - it's important to advise that obtaining hot water in the mornings might require running the faucet for a brief period. Considering California's current water conservation efforts, the implementation of an instant hot water system in Suite 5 could be an environmentally friendly solution, minimizing water waste during the initial wait for hot water. The shower provided a refreshing experience with conveniently dispensed shampoo and conditioner. While a dedicated shelf for personal toiletries would be a welcome addition, the current setup might be a space-saving measure.|Hotel highlights|Quiet
Great place. I loved the front area, very peaceful and serene. It is pretty close to the highway, but we couldn't hear the traffic noise when we were inside. Our room was dark, but I think if you get one of the end rooms there are more windows . The shower was large.

This place was super cool!! Loved it!! get yourself some dinner and plan to eat at the super awesome table in the court yard by the pond and under the lights......if it isn't too hot! Definitly recomend and would stay there agin!!!
Lovely rooms and very friendly owner. Road is a bit too close and loud but you can get away from the noise if you sit at the big table at the far end of the garden
We have stayed here 3 times now and we just love it. We usually go for the room at the end because we like to fold into Joshua tree and pretend we live there for a few days. The room is huge (like a small apartment), immaculately clean, quite, and the little kitchen has everything you need to rustle up some tasty food. The games and record player are also nice touches which we always use. Thank you for another lovely stay ✨
My first time in Joshua Tree and we stayed at Casa Luisa! It was the most amazing stay ever! The house was clean, decorated really cute, and close proximity to the park and town! Joel was super easy to get in contact with as well! I canât wait to s
I love that they keep some of the Cambodian recipes from the original owner in the menu. Really great place for breakfast and people watching. The tres leches pancakes were unreal. Had a hard time keeping them away from the rest of table. Shredded ha
A free and enjoyable reclaimed material art display in the middle of the desert. To some it may look like junk, but there is definitely an element of real art to many of the pieces. Itâs worth seeing considering the fact of how unique it is and def
I ordered the vanilla latte and it was delish! Not too sweet which is perfect! Service was nice and it's a cute little coffee shop with nice decor and a cute little patio area. Will continue to come here when I go to Joshua Tree NP.
