Mohican Resort Motel - Motel in Lake George - 1545 US-9, USA

The room we had was clean but very 1980. It definitely needed an overhaul. For the area we were in it was priced reasonably. The pool area was nice and the location was very good close to lake George attractions and lots of shopping centers. Staff was pleasant. The breakfast in the morning was bear bones.

This is a beautiful place with a wide variety of accommodations and exceptionally friendly staff. My wife highly approves and that is not easy to achieve. The desk staff are spot on with Hospitality and responsiveness. The house we rented was Outstanding in its layout and is a great vacation getaway place to chill in or operate as home base for all the local attractions.

What a GEM! My wife & kids vacation in Lake George every year and have stayed in 'cabins' and your chain hotels. A couple even have 'resort' in their description. We highly recommend the Mohican for all of it's offerings: Good clean rooms, TWO pools ( outdoor and indoor, with a hot tub to boot!), game room, playground, basketball court. Picnic tables under shaded pine trees! Great staff and housekeeping * vacuum the floors too!). Spend more on your family and friends, supporting the Lake George economy rather than higher prices elsewhere. We were able to add some more memorable activities in the area this trip. Spent a week at Mohican Motel and enjoyed every day there. Room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was great. Went to the pool everyday. Conveniently located. Will definitely be back !!

I can’t even give 1 star for service! The manager girl I spoke to was absolutely RUDE as can be. I needed to cancel my reservation and asked to be refunded my deposit as I wasn’t able to make ( giving a MONTH in advanced) and once I asked for my money back, she got exceptionally rude with me arguing with me and then proceeded to hang up on me. I tried calling back. She picked the phone up and slammed it down again in my ear. That’s when I decided to take matters further into my own hands. I have to say I never had this experience with the previous owners. Dave was the Nicest guy and knew how to run a business FAIRLY. It’s to bad they still aren’t owning Mohican Resort. I will NEVER stay there again as well as anyone else in my family as we all always did! to bad over $100.00 deposit that I was certainly owed back!

Rooms were very clean. Few outlets to charge phones. Poor cable reception, TV froze every few minutes and several chanels that were listed,didn't come in at all.The manager told us on Monday that the cable company would be here the next morning and on Wed. Still no reception.Vanity light didn't work. Would hesitate before returning.

Great time at Mohican. Amazing spot watch Adirondack and enjoy breakfast, we had room with kitchen, cool archade for kids, good wifi. Really clean rooms and prompt service and amazing guest service. Love location as it’s close to outlets, lake George and Great escape.

My family and I have been coming here for a few years. Kim always greets us by name every morning. She is always helpful, professional and caring of our needs. She is one of the main reasons my family and I constantly return.
