Within the Grand Canyon National Park, this is a large turnout, stopping point along the South Rim Trail. This particular vantage point is a gorgeous, large viewing area that is a must see within the park. It is accessible by hiking, personal vehicle, it is a tram stop, or can be accessed on one of the paid for bus tours. There are multiple viewing areas some wheelchair accessible and others not accessible, but all areas are amazing to see. Railing is noted at part of the area and other areas are much more open. The Mohave Point allows viewers a visual into areas of the lower canyon with viewing superior to the Hermit Point viewing. There are no restrooms at this top stop so ensure you take advantage of restrooms at Hermit Point.

When we visited the Grand Canyon village the entrance was free. We were super lucky but it was a heavy rain for an hour. Once it stopped the temperature dropped down to 13 and we were not prepared for the cold 😅 the tour guide always recommended Hopi point to watch the sunset but it gets super busy and crowded. I personally prefer Mohave point on somewhere between Mohave and Hopi.
Every section of Grand Canyon National Park is an absolute must see. It's so gorgeous. God really did some of his best work with nature.
Les points de vus sur le Grand Canyon et le Colorado sont époustouflants. Vous pouvez faire de très belle randonnée entre chaque point de vue ou prendre la navette qui est gratuite.
Absolutely stellar for sunrise. Took the 4am shuttle up the west rim road and was not disappointed. Very few people at this viewpoint this morning so it was very quiet. There’s not a bad sunrise in the canyon at all, but this one is at the top of my list. There were a pair of birds dancing along the canyon walls as the sun came up. Truly a show of natures beauty and majesty.
What a beautiful place to just stop and appreciate Mother Nature and a spectacular sunset.
It is a great place to get a wonderful viewer of the canyon and the river. You can take a bus or tour to this point, as well you can either walk to it or ride a bike to it. You may also run into some wild animals on your way up to this point. If you can, it is definitely a place to head out to and see.

dress for the weather! it's always nice and clean park rangers have always been nice and friendly (I'm sure I'm bothering them so I training myself to keep it short) the views are breathtaking everyone should visit atleast twice lol
Yavapai point provides spectacular views of the Grand Canyon and a fitting place for the geology museum. Sheer walls look deep into the canyon. Easy paved trails link to other nearby locations. Definitely worth a stop by itself or on the way somewher
35 per car...llots of different spots to see drive to around the Grand Canyon to see different views of it... definitely a must see pictures do not do it justice.
Third major checkpoint youâll come across on your descent down. Personally it was underwhelming for the entire journey we took, but couldnât go wrong with the exceptional views from all sides and the entire way through. Took my friend and I about
Went here early November to watch the sunset over the canyon- so happy we chose this spot! There were only about 4-5 other couples/families there so we had the place basically to ourselves and the panoramic view once you got to the area jutting out p
What a beautiful trail! I did a very casual and short hike because the rest of the trail was closed as of December 2023 due to a waterline renovation project. The views are so spectacular and much better than those of the many overlooks. No camera ca
This trail is very long and we only hiked a few 1-4 mile sections. Good views. One cloud hike it east to west and take a shuttle back from the end. Itâs far easier than the trails that go down as at some point, you must go up! We did parts in AM,
Fantastic view! We did a day hike to Plateau Point from Bright Angel Lodge. I would not recommend the average person do the same. We were sore for more than a day after and Iâd like to think weâre pretty fit people. We started around 8am and go
Moran Point in Arizona is an absolute gem that deserves a glowing five-star rating! This hidden treasure offers some of the most breathtaking and lesser-known views of the Grand Canyon, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and ad
Second major checkpoint youâll come across on your descent down this trail. Decently spaced area to walk around and absorb the view. Met lots of friendly faces here. The climb down can be a little difficult cause of the slippery rocks, but the asce
This is a beautiful overlook about halfway between Grand Canyon Village and Desert View. The parking area isn't huge, so you may not be able to find a spot at busy times. There is an area specifically for hiker overnight parking, but it's not exclusi
This is one of the best beginner friendly trails in the Grand Canyon National Park. I have been here on 2 occasions - once in dry scorching heat and one in cold wet rain and it was a breeze to complete this trail each time. The trail is also one of t
I don't think we should even be able to rate something like the Grand Canyon. What is there to say? It's absolutely huge and gorgeous. The south rim is a dog friendly paved trail! Highly recommend going to the south rim if you're traveling with a dog
