Dining here was a culinary adventure like no other unfolded at the brand-new Moghul Express in Parsippany. From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance struck a perfect balance between tradition and modernity. The decor combines classic framed photos with contemporary wall art, creating an inviting and vibrant atmosphere. It was an exciting foreshadowing of the remarkable fusion cuisine that awaited us. The menu was a treasure trove of flavors. We started our meal with the exquisite paneer bhaati tikka, a delightful twist on traditional Indian paneer. The harmony of spices and the succulent texture left us craving for more. The veg hakka noodles had the perfect blend of spice and crunch, making them a real crowd-pleaser. As we moved on to the main course, the chaana masala was the epitome of comfort food, while the black pepper shrimp offered a zesty kick that we relished. Pairing these with the aromatic garlic naan was an unforgettable experience. And let's not forget dessert – the famous tres leches ras malai was a sweet masterpiece. The creamy, indulgent layers, coupled with the richness of traditional ras malai, was an absolute delight. The food was good, we tried the indo Chinese and liked almost every dish. The service could be better. The seating process is not super clear, they have some tables reserved, some groups came in and sat whichever table was available. We were 4 people and there was a 6 person table empty but we were told they anticipate bigger parties so cannot seat us on that table. So we had to wait for quiet a bit to be seated. I don’t mind waiting, especially as I saw they were busy but there has to be a clear process of seating people, a dedicated person to manage the seating could be helpful. Will definitely try them out as the food was good

Had a very great experience at Moghal Express Parsippany. The staff was amazing and food was great. Special shout out to Pushpa, Vaishnav, and the chef!!! We got Samosa channa chaat and goat biryani and it was delicious. Thank you for the hospitality and friendliness

Adding to my review as Google doesn't allow multiple reviews. Recently, I ordered catering from Mogul Express for an event at home. The food and service were both excellent, and multiple guests complimented the menu and the food. It was not a typical menu, and had many chaat items. The person who delivered the food did an excellent job at setting up the items. The ordering process was great as well. Micky was a pleasure to work with. He made the process smooth, patiently answered my questions and accommodated my one-off requests. It was a surprise party, and he also played along with my request to keep the conversations discreet :-), including when the person I was throwing the party for showed up with me to order for another party at our place. Would highly recommend Mogul Express and Micky for your catering needs. We also love the place for dine-ins (the review below) *** Great place for casual Indian meal. We love the indo-Chinese items. Everything we have tried was delicious, and things taste fresh. Service is great as well.

This review is specific to Non Veg food. We order Delhi butter chicken and black pepper dry chicken. Food was not good, not at all at moghul level. Butter chicken felt like its not a dish where they freshly cooked it, but they just mixed the dry chicken tikka and already prepared tomato gravy (a lot of gravy and less chicken). Pepper chicken also doesn't seems like made from fresh chicken, very chewy not fresh at all. Not a good experience. We usually dine in for veg food and their Chinese food and Biryani is very good. Not sure what went wrong, may be cook was not in the mood to cook fresh food.

We're Filipinos and this is our favourite Indian Restaurant so far! Food is fantastic and service is friendly! Our go-to orders are: Chicken Biryani, Goat Biryani, and Chicken Tikka Masala. I am not a huge spicy eater so it helps that they can adjust the heat level to your liking. Food is cooked fresh and really delicious! We love the masala tea too especially on cold days. They also give rewards to frequent customers like today, we got $3 off our orders! Restaurant is spacious and waiters are prompt. Eat, explore - repeat!

Good place to eat in Parsippany. It was a Tuesday night, apparently not many people for dine in. So, can't say much about the service during weekends but for us it was a good experience for overall service. we ordered sweet corn soup,samosa, paneer Tikka masala (with comp.rice), garlic and plain naan, Gravy Manchurian (with comp. rice) and hakka noodles. overall food was good, quantity is enough for at least 2/3 people. Gravy Manchurian is the highlight from our order - superb taste. Samosa- below average (feel like uncooked) other things in our order were above average. overall good experience.
