Moe Moon's - Bar & grill in Myrtle Beach - 990 Boardwalk, USA

We went to Moe's for a late lunch and had quite a time. Views are great! Fishbowl are shareable, though we did not share. We each got one and whew! It's a lot! Prices for alcoholic beverages such as the fish bowls are not on the menu, which if they had been, we wouldn't have each gotten one. However, they were all tasty, and we had no regrets! Tacos were great! Got both shrimp appetizers, and they were sooooooo good!! And the bang bang shrimp Mac and cheese was delicious too!

This is a nice place on a boardwalk but it is overpriced. Ritz across the street has a better view and food but if you want to eat on a boardwalk, it’s a solid choice. 20% gratitude is included in the bill. I loved the pineapple cocktail and tried the Mac&a cheese with fries and shrimp first time there. It was a heavy dish so definitely recommend in case you are not doing anything active like going to the ocean after it.

Walking the boardwalk we decided to try this casual place since it appeared to have good reviews and right on the water. The waitress was awful - incredibly slow with no personality. Some others around seemed good but since we were told upfront she would add 18% onto our bill she really didn’t have to give any effort to get paid. For 2 of us it was $118 for 1 drink, order of wings, a shrimp skewer, 2 side salads and 5 crab legs with more water inside them than meat. We were incredibly disappointed.

We entered to have a fun dinner on the last day of our trip. We were seated quickly as there weren't many people there on a Sunday night. Our waiter dropped off our menus and 1 drink menu for a table of 5. He seemed to be in a rush to take our drink order as we passed around the single drink menu. This was evidenced by his tone and posture. I ordered the pineapple chicken which came with a salad (no effort to make or real flavor), fries (basic), vegetables (underseasoned), and the grilled chicken with pineapples (basic). Nothing was good enough for me to recommend the dish. Fine, we just wanted to have a fun last night. Two of my table mates ordered the moe burger that advertises a free tshirt if you finish. When our waiter came with our check we asked for the 2 shirts. I had cheered my tablemates to finish since they were so close to the shirt. It was the only reason they ordered a $30 burger! The waiter ran my card then came back and stated they only had small and medium shirts. No one at the table is visibly that small. The waiter was asked for a resolution. He left and came back laughing with small kid size string bags and koozies. He stated we could put beer in the koozies. When a guest shared that she did not want them and didn't drink beer he stated that she should start and kept laughing about it. He was asked to grab a manager. She arrived already in defense mode. She ultimately did they don't refund or give credits for credit cards. Then that she didn't know how to do it. She stated we can come back tomorrow despite being told we were flying out. There was zero empathy which made the experience so negative. We had to ask for a number to call. She then stated the manager who returns tomorrow can review the receipt and issue a credit. We left with a rude and disappointing experience. We did try to call. No one seems to answer and they reportedly don't check voicemails. I would never recommend or return. Nothing was special. Other venues have fishbowls and specialty drinks with better food. The response to my families reviews is reflective of the character of the staff we encountered. Defensive. Rude. In this case management lies? Crazy. No one cursed at staff. It's not even in our character. So that is very outrageous to say. Additionally, blaming the customer for bad service? Crazy unprofessional. The business did not fulfill an obligation. The energy was. Take what you can get and go versus trying to make the customer happy or communicate effectively. The 15% off was offered then resended because the manager reportedly could only do it if we paid cash or before they charged my card. The ask to return when we were meant to be to the airport. Unrealistic. It was our last night and the combination of being rushed at first, the laughing when the issue arose, and the defensive stance and lack of empathy was just unprofessional. If you mail out shirts that should've been an immediate resolution offered and that would've ended the conversation. Honesty i think unless we just reduced our expectations for quality service the staff would not have been happy. The interaction was adults having a conversation but the staff defensiveness and lack of problem solving skills made it worse

We encountered this restaurant walking on the boardwalk. The food is decent and my kids loved them. The waitress was very polite and got the food very quickly. The price was okay.

We live in Myrtle Beach eating here made us feel like we were on vacation. Sat on the boardwalk people watched has cocktails and shrimp appi in a pineapple. Everything was amazing and relaxing

Lisa was our server, she was awesome. Very helpful, friendly, and top notch customer service! We definitely want to come back! Also, a shout out to whoever designed the kids menu…we have a non-verbal not yet reading autistic child and the kids menu is the first I’ve ever seen with photos of the kids meals. My son was able to point to what he wanted… I wish other restaurants would do this. I applaud you for this idea, thank you!!! It made it easy for my son to show us what he wanted. We will come back here next time we visit Myrtle Beach!
