Great prices and decent service. Hopefully they get all the rooms remodeled soon and more up to date and it'll be a great place. But all in all it's still a good place to rest and lay your head.

The guy was very rude and kicked me off the property while i was there helping a friend check in. I had my pup with me and he insisted that the rules were nobanimals allowed on premises and that my friend was informed if this. I asked if he was the one who checked him in and he replied no so i asked how he knoqmws for sure he knew and he insisted on calling the cops and made my friend leave 5 days before checkout and keeping $200+ !!!!!

Ok I can now say I have stayed at the infamous Model City. I was terrified after reading the posts. For what you pay it's not to to bad. Its def not in the best shape and I think they may even have black mold on the ceiling BUT, I stayed there for a week while waiting to move to our new place, and I never seen a roach, and there are no bed bugs here. But, when it costs double anywhere else to stay you get what you pay for. I never seen the cops and the people I seen there we're polite. So maybe they cleaned it up a bit or something????

I wouldn't give them half a star . Unless you're giving stars for bedbugs and dirty rooms.I've emptied TRASH cans that have been cleaner than the carpets in that place. The only amenity they have is on-site laundry and EXTREMELY RUDE OWNER/EMPLOYEES. THE Board of Health should have shut them down years ago.

Those rooms are pitiful for what those ppl charge no TV unless that tiny 70s box tv was the motels the bed was so hard I couldn't sit on it. The parking lot is tinely

I liked it. Never had problems really. A bug every now n then. We kept our place clean and had zero bed bugs

Their room are ducked up! Their manager are the same.. I assume she has know kids, so she thinls everyone there should do exactly what she says.. Or she cries like a little baby. We are grown people, i know in anyones right mind, would go any where else but at least its barely worth the risk....... Lol!!

Nastiest place in Kingsport. Worse than Westside Inn. If you even mention the bedbug problem to management, you will be tossed out with no refund. If you complain about the room being filthy, same deal, tossed out with no refund. I promise, if someone is willing to spend an extra 25 to 30 a night it is worth it to go on down the road and get a room at Red Roof Inn or something. I had a friend rent a room here for a week. She paid like 175 dollars and was tossed out the 2nd night because she mentioned bedbugs and roaches. We are talking about someone who is on a fixed income and couldnt afford that kind of loss.
