Moaaz Mediterranean Grill - Mediterranean restaurant in Rahway - 928 St Georges Ave, USA

I door dashed moaaz, I ordered chicken and basmati rice with sauce. Horrible the chicken was rubbery so was the pita bread I don't know who cooked this or who microwaved this but I've microwaved chicken and bread to reheat and it always ends up rubbery and very hard so I can tell you that I spent 30$ on doordash to bring me food that was obviously microwaved, the pita bread was hard at the ends so was the chicken I was so excited for the bread as it looks like it was toasted nicely, the basmati rice WAS NOT BASMATI RICE the problem there is that they didn't even use long grain rice to try to substitute they used short grain and it was mushy which probably happens when you mix grains of rice one cooks quicker than the other.... the white sauce was clearer than the halal spots sauce and did not have much flavor. Very disappointed I didn't request a refund from doordash as it's not their fault..... next time I'll order from the actual halal spot instead of this place.

From the moment you step into Moaaz Mediterranean Grill, you know you're in for a treat that's genuine and deliciously real! The portions are generous, the meat is fresh, and the service is impeccable. Let's not forget about the Boom Boom Shrimp and Chicken - absolutely incredible! As someone who's been there from the start, seeing Moaaz flourish over the past 2 years has been a delight. Rahway truly is lucky to have such a great spot for quick and authentic Mediterranean fare. It's become my go-to for a satisfying meal multiple times a week. Highly recommended!

Much needed Mediterranean dining in the area. Only went there once but... Not a " night out with the family/ sit down restaurant" but the food was much better than average. Definitely better quality than one of those Mediterranean owned " chicken spot" type places. Real, fresh , unprocessed , authentic food. Served courteously with a smile. Be prepared for the large portion sizes. We will be back!

Since I planned a pop-up party with less than twenty four hours to provide food for twenty people, I contacted Moaaz Mediterranean Grill for my catering needs. The quality and quantity of the food surpassed my expectations. Everyone from the vegetarians to the meat lovers enjoyed their food. After allowing Moaaz Mediterranean Grill to cater my event, I will never go anywhere else. I will ALWAYS contact Moaaz Mediterranean Grill for my catering needs! This company is more than a five star establishment.

Honestly it’s ALWAYS good. Owned by a lovely man who really pours his heart and soul into his business and his food. You can get different platters/bowls or approach it “chipotle style” where you choose the elements you want in your bowl. We’re big fans!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 💯👍🏻 Our first time dining here and it was such a great experience. I had the best “GYRO” I really love the gyro being toast before they serve it and my husband had a Egyptian special platter! Everything was fresh, clean and high quality. Delicious and healthy foods! Everything tasted AMAZING!!! Also must try the “BAKLAVA”! The owner is the nicest man and employees were so kind and nice!!!

Just wanted everyone to know - PLEASE TIP ONLY CASH (if you want your money to go to servers)! The boss, Said, takes all credit/debit tips, and in my 2 years of working there, never once gave any of this to the girls, even when customers were under the impression their tip money was going to us (the servers/workers). Just wanted to help my old staff members who still work there- and try to get them some more tips in cash, as they work hard and deserve it. Food is decent though 👍
