I’m glad we tried this place for dinner. Best baked and fried chicken in the area. Don’t know how we missed this gem of place. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sides of rice, pigeon beans, pinto beans and okra were equally delicious as chicken. The owner of this place is courteous and friendly. She definitely knows her work. My money would be going to support business of my own people. Definitely my to go place and recommended place as well👍🏻

Ordered the smothered chicken, seasoned rice with gravy, black eyed peas, cornbread and sweet potato pie. The food was not good at not sure what how they made the sweet potato pie couldn’t have been with real potatoes. It was kind of jelly like. The food was sloppy and nasty. There were no onions or bell peppers or anything. No vegetables at all in the Black Eyed Peas the chicken, and the skin was just nasty and it wasn’t seasoned well at all I would not order here again. I flip the pie so you can see the crust like this I don’t know what this is. I’m annoyed cause I was really hungry and tried something new. $45 spent and wasted.

I enjoy their food. I buy food from here 2-3 times a week minimum. The issue is my order is frequently not fixed correctly. Some of staff fixing the plates do so as if we aren't waiting on our orders. I would like to get my food correctly & quick as possible. They are friendly.

Thank you so very much for not putting onions in your vegetables. You are the first place that I have found where I can eat the vegetables, and not worry about finding disgusting onions in my food. I will definitely be coming there a lot. And the food was delicious.

I found Mo Better when I was looking for home cooking for my Mom, who is recovering from a fall. The food is great, I have not had any issues with the servers or the restaurant. The food has been hot, cooked well and not overly seasoned. Thank you so much.

I like going there because the food is good and it's nearby where I go. I'm a visitor going to see a doctor. I don't like it because they're closed most times I come. It seems to do good business don't understand why they are closed on normal business days. Also large to-go orders should be for call ahead. Had to wait for over ten minutes while order was taken.

Lima beans dry, macaroni and cheese fry and hard like it’s been sitting for hours and neither of them had any flavor. The chicken was fresh. The cornbread was sweet like jiffy. Peach cobbler taste like it was made with no sugar added peaches and was horrible. First time here at the Stonecrest Mall location.

I tried my hardest to like it. I really did. I got a veggie plate. I passed on the meat because it looked unappealing and opted for the veggie plate. Macaroni and cheese, yams, dressing and it came with cornbread. Everything tastes canned, ready made, and unseasoned. I am so disappointed. I still can’t figure out why the line was long or what these five star reviews ordered unless it’s because there’s no other soul food type restaurants around.
