Mmm...Cakes - Bakery and Cake Shop in Chula Vista - 310 3rd Ave Suite C4, USA

My husband and I entered a few minutes before closing and we were totally welcomed. The tiramisu cake was light and delicious. Love the golden girls decor and decorations for Halloween. Since we were the last customers of the night, we were offered the leftover evening pastries. Great service and cake. Pleasantly surprised by a great bakery experience!

The coffee, cakes, and pastries are all amazing. The service is also something to rave about, great service, the owner Jose is super friendly and interactive with the customers. Along with all the great things about this place, the chicken molé here stands above it all! Authentic molé from Puebla, MX. From the chicken molé danish to the chicken molé chilaquiles, it is the best molé you will have in Chula Vista, it’s the main reason we keep coming back.

I loved everything about this little cafe. The vibes, food and service were wonderful. I especially appreciate the service they’ve provided. The owner Jose is very friendly. I’ll definitely go back when I’m in the area.

This cafe has a cute ambience and is operated by a very friendly, personable, and professional staff. The food was a delight! I devoured their chicken mole danish, which was a well balanced blend of savory and mildly sweet flavors. The Valrhona chocolate brownie is excellent for people like me who love a very rich chocolate profile. It has a melt-in-your-mouth softness at room temperature and pairs well with their house brewed coffee. I definitely recommend this business for a quick bite or coffee / dessert date. Very delicious cake and friendly service! It was wonderful to work with this bakery for a custom cake. It was easy to order and make requests. The end product was impressive, beautiful and tasty. Our guests really enjoyed this treat!

This is a cute cafe and pastries gem in Chula Vista. The ambience is relaxing and fun. It takes you back in time with the beautiful decor and music. The food, pastries and breakfast and lunch topped danishes are extraordinary! Everything I've tasted is an A+. Definitely attractively quaint!

While watching Jose’ on the Next Great Baker, I was excited he said he was from Chula Vista, CA. His Mmm Cakes store was put on my short list. Well, it was worth the visit. The staff was welcoming and helpful. My latte was perfect, and the Nutella cinnamon roll was scrumptious! I’ve found a new, local coffee and dessert spot. Thank you Jose!’

I had heard about this bakery for the last couple of months. It did not disappoint. I was lucky enough to stop with my friend just before closing and bought the last 2 cinnamon rolls. They were awesome! It's what a cinnamon roll should taste like, especially the warm center. The inside is chic and clean. It is a welcoming bakery. Not pictured were the chocolate chip walnut cookies I bought as well. So good as well! What's most important was the service that was provided for us. The lady and gentleman that helped us out were friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back. Eat up!!
