Good sushi joint. The rolls were of considerable size. I had the Mizu Jumbo and Green Dragon roll. They were delicious. For dessert, I had their Res Bean ice cream. I've never had it before but it wasn't so overwhelmingly sweet. It was right in the middle when it came to sweetness. It’s a large portion good for two, the ice cream. The place is considerable in size with covered outside seating. It's on a corner of a major street so it can be loud outside. The parking space is shared with outer establishments so it's tight. But I highly recommend this place.
Y'all definitely gotta experience this sushi spot nestled in San Antonio center (next to Jared). Outstanding customer service! I'm really big on hospitality and receiving excellent customer service when I'm spending my coins. The waitstaff was kind, courteous, gracious, and informative. We all know sushi, but being able to receive appropriate answers when inquiring about the menu goes a long way!
-Appetizers delicious! I could have eaten 200 of those green muscles
-Hurricane Roll, OMG!!! So creative and tasty
-Butterfly Roll, yes yes and yes!!
-Sake was a decent quality as well
**CLEAN unisex restrooms!
-Chill atmosphere that can be family dinner, a bite after work, a drink at the bar and an appetizer, or date night.
Can't wait for another opportunity to experience Mizu.
Pretty good sushi I had the cherry blossom roll. Price was a little expensive to what I am used to in the east coast but the fish was very fresh. There was an odd taste to the daikon to me. The wait staff was very nice. They have outdoor seating too. The fried ice cream is huge and it was very creamy and good with a crunchy outside but the green tea ice cream didn’t have a strong flavor
Pretty solid sushi, rolls, and appetizers. Lunch special bento boxes have a lot of rice and come with soup and salad.
I went to Mizu with my partner Lily, who also shared some thoughts:
I ordered the Yami Yami roll and Lily ordered the Salmon Teriyaki, California Roll, and Tamago 2 piece.
Lily: my favorite was the Salmon. The teriyaki didn't overwhelm the fish. The California roll's crab was a bit too plain. I also tried a piece of the Yami and it wasn't spicy enough imo. Overall 8.5/10 it's a little expensive for the taste but it's still a step up
Me: The Yami Yami had this crunch tempora on the outside but it served like a little plate to the fish on top which the spicy mayo complimented well. It was a nice pop flavor. We got seats close to the front and it was still a little cozy. The service was considerate but not intrusive. I agree with the price being too expensive which brings it to a 4 for me but it was a nice experience.
My wife and I went there for our anniversary and everything went absolutely amazing. The food and service was astonishing. You must try the crispy rice and tuna appetizer. Crazy rolls were awesome too. Will definitely bw back soon
Delicate and delicious Japanese food. It was a little pricey. Also the staff recommend us to add chips to the tapas, without telling us it cost extra $5, give the appetizers was $22. I feel not good about this :( the rolls were delicious and with large portions. Hope the menu could include more categories of Japanese cuisine.
Great sushi place. They serve a wide variety of sushi. The wait staff was very friendly.
Rainbow blossom is a must try. We also tried the crazy dragon. Both the sushi rolls were under the spicy section.
We also liked the California roll and spicy tuna. They also serve the complimentary miso soup.

We ordered a few different sushi. Even during the pandemic the quality has not gone down. Call 911 sushi is very spicy but totally worth it. Eat at your own risk.
If you are not a spicy eater then would recommend the Spicy Tuna. It is only lightly s
