Miyako Steakhouse Of Japan - Japanese restaurant in Gulf Breeze - 1385 Shoreline Dr, USA

This Japanese restaurant is extremely underrated. Outside of the restaurant, it is a little run-down but you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. When you walk in you are greeted by staff immediately and sat down. The food overall was not bad but had good pricing. Appetizers were tasty and the portions are nice and big, presentation was nice, and anything seafood was fresh. Only complaint is that the beef isn’t very good. The parking lot was empty outside which I found a little odd considering the good food and service they had here. Would recommend eating here with family.

My husband and I went to Miyako for the first time on date night. We love Japanese food and so far we haven't found a place we absolutely love in town. That change the moment we tasted Miyako's miso soup. OMG the food was delicious and tasty, the staff was all Japanese and it shows on their food. My husband and I were starving for we ordered a lot of food plus we wanted to try as many items as possible( something we usually do when visiting a new place). Everything we had was delicious . We were so happy and we would definitely go back.

I went for sushi and found it to be pretty decent. The unagi I ordered was a little on the chewy side, but my other two rolls were solid. It was good enough that I would be interested to come back and try something on the “steakhouse” side to compare quality. The woman who greeted me up front was friendly, and the location of the place was nice and quiet.

Good food, good service, atmosphere is off though. Quiet piano music or slow music is overpowering. TVs in the corners have to go. Outside is kind of run down.

Great place and happy hour. Lady next to us kept yelling- amazing . So fresh! Coming back. If you haven’t tried, you’re missing out

The Sushi was delicious. We ordered 4 rolls. All requests were honored. The Dinosaur Eggs were so well done- the avocado is sliced super thin and surrounds a sea of imitation crab-ponzu sauce on top. California Roll was traditional with avocado-crab stick and veggies rolled in nori and sushi rice, the Godzilla Roll was a fried roll -I requested soy paper and filled with deliciousness. The favorite choice was the Rainbow Naruto Roll- extremely fresh fish selections wrapped in cucumber. My dining partner said he could eat it daily it was so light and clean tasting!

Excellent sushi, fresh and well presented. I like their appetizer very much. Nice atmosphere, servers are very friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back again.

Excellent food, good variety and if your a fan of Sushi then this place is for you. I'm not a fan of Sushi for health reasons. All there meal are made fresh. Service isexcellent and moderatley priced.
