Excellent location, just a few steps and you are on the beach. The apartment is clean with everything you need for your stay. Excellent view of the beautiful white sand beach. Beautiful sunset view. They should only renew the bathroom and change the mattress but everything else is excellent.

When I first walked in I was disappointed. The sleeper sofa was filthy and broken. We had to sleep on the very thin mattress on the floor. It wasn't clean and I was very upset for the money we spent. Management was very understanding and helpful they changed out the furniture and bought us a brand new air mattress. The sleeping accommodations and furniture are the OWNER'S responsibility, not management. Location was great for beach access but nothing else. I was traveling with parents that cannot make long walks like myself. We had to Uber or use trolley everywhere. Misty Isles is okay if ALL you do is beach. Made best with what we had but overall, way over priced we should have been offered some type of refund for furniture and sleeping inconveniences

Misty Isles is a joke! And so if the posting in the room to contact Brandon Tecklenburg is you have any feedback. We contacted Brandon for a refund as the bed was not sleepable as it sagged 8 inches in the middle of the bed and Brandon was not helpful in any way and offered ZERO refund. We spent $500 on this room for 2 nights stay and had to find another place to stay since the bed was not something a dog would even sleep in. We left and went somewhere else so this was an expensive learning experience. Like other posts and reviews beware, this place is advertised as beach front rooms, only the upper and lower room in the main building are beach front rooms everything else is not a beach front room however you can see parts of the beach from some rooms if you walk outside down hall way or sidewalk but you can also be 2 blocks away and see sand. If you want to be beach front go somewhere else and don’t fall for the fake bookings descriptions as it again only applies to 2 rooms. Save your money and go someplace else. PS a picture is posted of the bed in the room, note it literally sags 8 inches in the middle of the bed and Brandon didn’t help or give a care about addressing the issue. For $250 a night mid week rates off season in mid May, this place was a joke!

Location is amazing! Room is clean. & well supplied for your needs. It does well for 4 ppl if your related because the bathroom is in the bedroom. Our first full day there several men arrived to work on the room next to us. That was horrible! They arrived@ 9 am and at 7 that night when we left for dinner they were still there!! Drilling concrete ..... Etc!! LOUD noises...HORRIBLE! I emailed the office about the situation. I didn't hear back from them. But......the worker's were back next day! Hope you have better luck if you choose to stay @Mistyisles.

5 star view, 3 star facility. The location and view cannot be beat. Very close to the beach, and good walking distance to bars and restaurants. However, the facility needs lots of improvements. I figure about $5K to $8K and it would be a nice facility. Indoor shower was literally about 2' x 2', air conditioners need upgraded, and sliding back door needs urgent replacement. I believe the owners have marked this facility as a 'cash cow' for now, but it could be so much better with a little effort. Also, it took an entire month to get my deposit back.

Like so many other guests we were terribly disappointed to find the poor condition of this property. Property pictures and description are carefully crafted to lead you to believe you are beach front. The price was more than hefty enough to support the beach front expectation. We were relegated to the unit furthest from the beach and not even in the beach front building. Decades of deferred maintenance have been addressed in many reviews over a number of years and are met with cheery responses from property management that they will look into it. The couch was so nasty we covered it with our dog’s blanket so we could sit on it. Beyond substandard, it’s shameful. We left two days early and will not be back here or to any TechTravel.com property.

renting these rooms for my family vacation was the worst decision ive ever made. as soon as we arrived we noticed that the "beach view" we were advertised was not true and from both sides of the apartments we only had a view of the parking spaces, all the appliances were old and breaking, there was no light in the patio so we couldn't do a barbecue or even sit outside after the sun set. the only way outside to the patio from the apartment was to go through the only bathroom and cross into the patio through a door that is the only way to get there. one of the pullout couches was broken and my daughter had to sleep on it, the other pullout couch had a mattress so thin that my son could feel the bars and springs through it. my sister was taking a shower and slipped because of the shower curtain being so long and injured herself. for the 2 days we were there maintenance people were fixing things in both houses. we cut our trip short and left 2 days early because it was unacceptable.

Literally about 10 steps from the sand! Beautiful view from every room (even the shower!) Easy check-in/out. Clean except for the one couch which was stained and uncomfortable to sit on. We reported that the shower hose was leaking; they came immediately and it was replaced the next day. Kitchen appliances could be updated. Otherwise well appointed!
