You could literally spend hours at this museum. It was a great experience and I love that it took a deeper dive into what happened in Mississippi during the civil rights era. The museum is only $15 per person and free on Sundays, highly recommend visiting.

This museum is amazing. There is so much history here. Everyone needs to experience it. Just be prepared cause it's definitely an all-day experience and some.

A beautiful building, beautifully curated! There is a great mix of text, artifacts, photos and interactive exhibits. I was welcomed by the staff at every turn. I stayed for lunch at Nissan Cafe. Admission was free today (Sunday morning.)

I live in new jersey, I went to Mississippi just to see lana del rey, I had no expectations, my first time traveling alone but Mississippi surprised me, what a beautiful and peaceful place. a place with a lot of history and emotional charge that I will definitely remember for my entire life. I had not met such kind, polite and nice people in the usa as in Mississippi. I would definitely come back ❤️Muchas gracias Mississippi, te llevo en mi corazón

Very nice presentation, educational and do have a parking garage on the back street that NO ONE hardly notice so u don't have to park on the street. Staff all very friendly, wonderful tour guide. Beautiful building

We arrived an hour ahead before closing. And was not able to see everything or read/hear from the people who had to endure the horrendous acts in Mississippi. You need a atleast 2 hours to view everything the museum has to show….I’m truly elated for Mississippi for having our history out for the public to see.

I enjoyed touring this museum, there was a lot to see and definitely a lot more to read. There are two sides, the history side and the Civil Rights Side. The setup is really detailed . They have a restaurant and a gift shop. The people were friendly and helpful.
