Stopped into Mission BBQ on Hull Street for a two item combo. Opted for the lean brisket and turkey plate. Food was on point and flavor exceptional. Staff were pleasant and eager to assist in making this dining experience great. 5/5 stars and highly recommend.
Great food, atmosphere, and service. The staff made it a great experience for our family and took care of us during our lunch visit. Our kids enjoyed pulled chicken, mac 'n cheese, and french fries. The french fry sides are large portions. A side of the fries was more than enough to feed three kids. The pulled pork, chicken, and "wet" brisket were delicious with a good balance of smoke and natural flavors. The green beans were a great side to compliment the meal. We also enjoyed the decor that celebrates service members past and present from local law, EMS, and fire, as well as our National service branches. We will definitely visit our local Mission BBQ again soon.
Ordered takeout and got the Half a Yard Bird with green beans and fries. The chicken was cooked perfect and very flavorful. The green beans had a different taste but were very good. Staff was very friendly.
A HUGE thank you to Maria and staff for the amazing BBQ meal we picked up a couple of weeks ago for our son's "headed to the Navy" party! The food is always delicious and the service is even better!!! We appreciate all you do for the military and sending our son off with your BBQ just seemed fitting. It was a perfect party with many thanks to you all!
The staff and service here is impeccable! We were the first ones in and received our food in less than a few minutes. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and happy to extend any help we needed. Whenever I want Mission BBQ I will be coming to this location. Hands down the best customer service I’ve received in RVA and I’m an RVA native. Came in after a pretty tough 5K race and left feeling better than when I came in. Thank you all! Your attitude and energy was so appreciated and valued. Blessings to you all. (BTW The Smoky Mountain sauce is the BEST.)
Our family’s favorite place to grab a meal! My kids are OBSESSED with the fries. I get the side salad and 1/4lb of chicken! Never a bad experience and the staff is always friendly and welcoming!
I had my grandsons wedding Catered from Missions BBQ Hull St a few weeks ago, and WOW is all I can say. They knocked it out of the park. Extremely professional, organized, helpful, food was fantastic. The service was absolutely amazing. Shout out to Blake, Everett, Bradyn, Tina and Emily (Cater director). This team went above and beyond in some of the worst weather you can imagine for an outside barn venue. I am beyond grateful and thankful for this team and the amazing job they did. If you need a catering for any event call and ask for this team you will not be disappointed. Carol
As a man who is very VERY particular about his ribs I can safely say this place smashed my expectations. Usually most places I order ribs from I leave disappointed because it’s bland. They also have different options for BBQ sauce so pick your poison! Highly recommended.
