Yummy!!! I love this place. I will forever rave about it. The wagyu with the stone was really good and really cool. The red stone roll is my go-to. The miso black cod is really good as well. And the fried cheesecake was surprisingly good too. People always say they love this place and thank me for bringing them here even though im not the one paying
The best sushi I’ve found in New Haven so far!! They have an amazing menu with a lot of creative roll options, and the vibes are so cute. We got a sushi platter and the black cod (yesss) and the bulldog roll which you defffff should get. Really good quality fish and amazing staff!! Perfect for dinner for a special occasion or before a show :)
We wanted sushi in a sea of apizza, and enjoyed an amazing meal! Our sushi rolls were amazing and we enjoyed our tuna tartar appetizer, days later we are talking about how tasty it was. Will 100% visit the next time we are in New Haven.
Delicious food and kind service. Great spot right by the corner of Orange and Crown. Atmosphere was great inside! We sat by the sushi bar, and the whole staff was very thankful. Good prices for standard rolls along with creative specials. The maki combo is a good deal for three rolls (California, Alaskan, and Spicy Tuna) and miso soup. Would definitely go again!
My must go spot whenever I’m in town. Very decent restaurant with big selection of food and drink. Both raw seafood from sushi bar and hot dishes from kitchen are very fresh and delicious. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Im amazed that the food is always prepared in a timely manner but still with nice presentation and decoration. This is an excellent place to go either with a big party or just chilling by myself with some munchies and drinks. Been coming here for 6 years and was never disappointed.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Miso. Our server was friendly and full of recommendations. The New Zealand salmon was divine. Our rolls were great. Our two person volcano cocktail was tasty 😋.
Miso soup was the perfect temperature, interesting playlist of hip hop and UK drill music, slow service due to women appearing to work solo-dolo (hosting, serving, running food and doing some bar drinks) and solid food & pricing for lunch specials. Overall: I wouldn’t say out of the ordinary or a must try but the epitome of solid and no regrets! Great value for sushi. I understand she was tackling the entire restaurant by herself for most of the lunch rush but that doesn’t change the fact that mediocre service was provided.
Nice spot! Very nice ambience. Great waitstaff. The sushi chefs are talented and create works of art. Food was fresh and prepared well.
