This is an amazing restaurant with authentic Peruvian food. It has a bakery case full of delicious looking pasteries and cakes. There is a full bar with a variety of traditional and American wines and cocktails. The staff is friendly and attentive. It is a casual atmosphere with a family run feel. Children are welcome. I would recommend the ceviche and the beef stew with rice and beans.
I have been driving by this place for far too long but finally stopped in for dinner today. Given how great the meal and service was I regret not coming here sooner. I highly recommend the empanadas and Tacu Tacu. Both were outstanding. The shrimp fried rice and pisco sours were very good as well. Finally, the employees are friendly and helpful. I will definitely be making this a regular spot on my rotation.
Nice staff good mango juice that Tastes natural. salad looks nice. Got a beef enpiñata the textures pretty good. The crust is all right Nothing too fancy for the crust. The inside of it very delicious has the right amount of seasoning we got a meat dish but they gave us beef instead of chicken but we are still happy it is chewy well seasoned and juicy.
This place was really neat, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The establishment isn't large, but it is vibrant and eclectic. It feels like a combination of a restaurant and grocery store because they have lots of common Peruvian snacks/drinks that you can buy and take with you. Our server was very friendly and helped us work through any questions on the menu. They do warn you that some food can take a bit of time because it is all made fresh (which is a great thing in my book). We tried a couple of their cocktails and unique beverages, and they were all great. The food was fantastic. I've never been to Peru, but I felt transported there with the food. They also have a big selection of desserts and pastries; I had to take one to-go because I was so full! I will definitely return and recommend to my friends.
This was my second visit with my kids to Mishqui. We all loved the food and the service. The Columbian enchiladas are fantastic! We tried both the chicken and the beef - crispy, flaky, corn on the outside, nicely seasoned fillings that leave you wanting more.
The kids shared sides of rice, beans, and a crunchy, roasted corn that was kind of like corn nuts, but not as hard. They loved the passion fruit juice. We shared the grilled beef heart with grilled tripe - both perfectly cooked, tender, with balanced flavor. They are served with large kernels of Peruvian corn and lightly fried boiled potatoes (best accompanied with one of the house sauces). I had the grilled heart the first time I ate here and ordered it again because it's tender, flavorful, and juicy.
Some vegetarian options are available, but it's a fairly meat heavy menu. Most dishes pair well with a selection of house sauces.
My daughter's review was, "This food is awesome! I could eat this all the time!"
This is the 3rd time we've been there and it never disappoints. I had the fish ceviche and aji de gallina (shredded chicken in cheese sauce) with white rice. It was tasty. I also had a sangria and a beer. My fam had the salchipapas and the trio marino. I tried both and it was tasty too. We also had a piece of chocolate cake and a pastry horn filled with dulce de leche. The chocolate cake has a nice filling. Service was amazing too. Overall, we had a lovely time at Mishqui. We definitely will be back soon!
Food and service are excellent. They have a vegan menu available. Expect a wait of at least 30-45 min if there are other tables also waiting.
The food here was great! Their chicken empanada was delicious. I tried the pollo saltado which had a good balance with the rice. Their tres leches was really good! I'm not used to having trea leches with so much cinnamon and it definitely added to the wonderful flavor the cake had already. Staff was friendly and helpful!
