Some of the best food I have had in a long time. If you are looking for authentic Mediterranean food.. look no further. Please try it for yourself, I promise you will not be disappointed. The hummus plate is a must!! AND THEN the cranberry apple, walnut salad!!
I've eaten here several times. Everytime has been great. Whether I have a salad, lamb chops and my favorite chicken wrapped asparagus. The service is great. Some dishes take longer to prepare but the owner is upfront and the food is fresh.
Delicious food! Hummus, falafel, lamb chops! OMG so delicious!! The lady that works here is often alone and it can take long time to have the food ready but trust me it’s worth it! We live 3 hrs away but whenever in this area we love to come here!
Delicious food, generous portions, hospitality exemplified, reasonable prices - Mishkenut doesn't disappoint. Could have made a meal out of the hummus appetizer with hot fresh pita. Many wrap options that satisfy veggie lovers and carnivores alike. Kabob meats wonderfully marinated and grilled just right. Dine in or takeout, might be tough to find on Ridge Rd located next to Schoops, parking in back.
For sure the best Mediterranean Cuisine mead Lansing IL. The girl is running the restaurant almost by herself and she does it GREAT. Be sure to know what are you going to have when she comes, as if you are not decided yet, it may take more time for her to make your food. But anyway the wait is worth. We tried the platter with almost everything and also the Hummus, the Babaganush and a lot of bread as the girl was always checking with us even , when she was completely busy. Thanks for a wonderful time 🙏🏽
Today was my first time visiting Mishkenut Mediterranean Cuisine. After staring at the menu for a while, I decided to order a Spinach Salad and the Veggie Plate with Chicken. Hal immediately knew I had never been there before because I ordered enough food for 3 people. LOL! My food was fresh and absolutely delicious. This veggie plate was incredible. And Hal was phenomenal. I will definitely be back.
They were only doing take out tonight when I planned on dining in, but my order was taken and I was given my appetizer while I waited. Once I got home, it was a very large amount of food and everything was delicious. Grape leaves were good, rice, all the meats and the hummus were all fantastic. I got a combo meal. Looking forward to going back again because the food and the service was so good and friendly.
Food was excellent. After living in the Middle East for 9 years, this is a great place to eat traditional food from that region. I was impressed. Falafel was some of the best I had ever eaten. Very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with good flavor. Hummus is so good, we got some to take home. Beef and chicken was we flavorful and moist. Highly recommend.
