The Cali Cream sushi roll is absolutely amazing. I really enjoy quality and for under $12 it was great. I've been twice in the last 2 weeks. The Rainbow roll is also great. The food was fresh and well designed. I hope you try Misawa Hibachi & Sushi Bar
This is the second time we got disappointed with the restaurant. Last time we came in they are supposed to closed 9pm we came around 8:45 pm we’re just gonna get some sushi and go but they told us they were closed! Today we decided to give it a try AGAIN!! We were standing by the door and nobody is around. After a few minutes Ive decided to check the kitchen and told one of there stuff if we can get a table. We ordered appetizer, 2 sushi and a hibachi dinner for us to share the food. When we finished our sushi I decided to order another one at 8:15pm but our server told us the sushi bar is closed now. It’s very disappointing! After few minutes server told us we can order another sushi after she told me they were closed and Im already disappointed. Not Im not going to order anymore. Not going back again. Atleast let your customers know youre closing the bar before doing it.
Incredible food and great atmosphere at an excellent price! The staff always ho above and beyond! If you have not eaten there, ho see Kros and the staff! They will treat you like family!
Delicious food and excellent service! Their sushi is phenomenal. I personally prefer it over Sake Blue and Saporro. Rich flavors, great servings (sushi), beautiful presentation. Ramen is delicious and the fried cheesecake was absolutely amazing. Kind servers, great vibe, and they made my brother (and by extension, us) feel special on his birthday celebration. Highly recommend!
If you are craving sushi rolls, be sure to visit Misawa. Located in Bardstown Road, the family-owned restaurant offers quality sushi rolls at a reasonable price. As you enter the place you can definitely feel the unique and modern ambience of the restaurant. Unlike its competitors, Misawa positions itself to be a contemporary and upscale, yet still casual, American-Japanese restaurant. My go-to sushi order is the Miss Veedol roll. It has a generous serving of spicy crab and tempura, then topped with salmon and drizzled with eel sauce and spicy mayo. The flavors work so well together. Our server Joanna also recommended the Derby roll, and I ended up loving the dish too! The seared scallop is the perfect addition to the roll, as the smokey taste from the seared side of the scallop complemented the delicate freshness of the scallop and shrimp. For the third roll, we decided to try a deep-fried roll. Their Sunday Morning roll is a spin on the staple deep-fried sushi roll-- it still has cream cheese, but with salmon replacing the usual spicy crab inside. For dessert, the sweet staff greeted my husband Happy Birthday with an equally beautiful and scrumptious tempura cheesecake! For date night, family lunch, catch up with friends, and anything in between-- go ahead and visit this place. Misawa definitely has our heart.
I always LOVE getting the Pink Puffers! They are always so good. The location is small but comfortable and the food is always tasty and the pricing is on par with similar restaurants. Also, being from a family full of air force, along with basically every other branch of the military, I can appreciate the name being after Misawa in Japan.
Everything was fabulous and service was perfect! Not one thing to complain about! Thank you for such a great experience! We will be back!
We arrived during the 7PM dinner rush, and had a 25 to 30 minute wait. There isn't a waiting area in, so we opted to wait in the car after giving out name and ph #. Honestly, it was worth the wait. I've been craving Ramen for weeks, and my bowl of tonkotsu ramen. The spicy sauce on the side added that extra kick I love in my broth. Loved the texture of the fried calamari, but wish it had a bit more salt or flavor. Can't wait to go back and try the rolls. I think my partner and I may become regulars.

Amazing. We did the wine pairing with dinner and everything went together splendidly. Service was excellent. It was one of the most enjoyable meals Iâve had in a very long time. I love a dinner that is designed to be savored and enjoyed.
The Fat Lamb is an absolute gem! If you go to one restaurant in Louisville, make it The Fat Lamb. The cocktails, wine and food are terrific across the board. Talk to Joe or Dane at the bar and they will steer you to what works for you every time. And
I honestly donât know if there is a lunch place that comes close or compares to The Cheddar Box! This has been a favorite local lunch spot for a long time and it deserves more than 5 stars! Iâm not sure what their secret recipe is, but the food i
Fun place with good food. I also must give them kudos for not overcharging for their drinks/ beer. 5-7 bucks for a beer in a mid level steak house is more than reasonable. We brought my mother in to celebrate her 78 birthday and they brought her out
