Mirino's Pizza & Subs - Pizza restaurant in DeLand - 253 N Spring Garden Ave, USA

Was driving thru and decided to call and pick up a pizza. The place looked nice, the cashier was nice. And the pizza was excellent. We loved it wish I lived closer.

Ordered a personal for lunch and the front staff were so nice!!! As I got my food and was leaving the owner came out & greeted me with a hand shake and told me her dad who started the business has friends not customers… I thought that was totally amazing! The pizza and garlic knots were next level! Love hidden gems wish they stayed open later… Hopefully in a few years when all the people from South Florida move up here 🤣

They have nice service and yummy food. This is a walk up and order restaurant. The restroom was clean. Plenty of vegetarian options.

What a cozy, friendly, inviting place! Feels just like your grandparents Italian kitchen. The staff was amazing and the food is just as good! They treat you like family and you can tell the food is made with love!

So, this place is another DeLand staple. The food is great and the service is great. It should be said, however, this place simply doesn't care whether you eat there or not. The place is so old and has such a solid base of customers, they don't care whether you choose to be a patron. If you eat here, great! If not, shrug. It's odd too, as the place is run by the nicest people in the world. Let me specify: The phone is ALWAYS busy. It is almost impossible to do a phone order. They have one phone line (with no call waiting so get used to that annoying busy signal for hours on end), there is no online ordering and absolutely zero delivery options. The food is great - best pizza in the state -but you have to go out of your way to try to get it. Oh - and this is the most FRUSTRATING place to park in all of DeLand. Please rethink the design of your tiny parking lot! TLDR - wonderful people and great food -if you can manage to get it (as the restaurant won't help).

Came today for the first time to pick up dinner for the family & was welcomed by z88.3 music! Happy & caring staff! I left a prayer request! Read scripture on the walls as I waited and was over joyed by their service! Must try food was delicious 🤍

Best Italian in DeLand. I am half Sicilian/ Italian and so far everything is how I make it myself... Which is excellent... Only place I know in my whole life that I'd would stop just to get Garlic Bread and some Sauce. They make their own bread and use fresh garlic.

One of the best local sub shops and Pizza in the neighborhood very friendly atmosphere the owner is a sweetheart always willing to be part of the community with gift certificates donations to several social organizations
