I reserved the hall for about a year in advance and all that was promise was not in place everything was misleading, I was unhappy I had to take it to the commissioners office to get it resolved, the day of my event I am learning that I cannot light candles, the table and chairs were not set up according to my floor plan, I got 19 tables instead of 20, it was just a complete mess. I had to reach out to the office several times before my event and Katrina Davenport was very disrespectful to me on the phone she was the reason I took my issues to the commissioners office. I think the entire staff needs to have a better communication levels with everyone so they all can be on the same page. The rules should applied to everyone, I paid to have my event and Davenport let it seems as if I was begging.

I rented a hall room here for an event. The space is perfect! Tables, chairs an in-house sound system with a huge projector screen, and an industrial kitchen complete with ovens, stoves, 2 walk in freezers, fridge and warmers, plus they have a team available to you during your event if you need assistance with anything. Ask for Alicia she's very knowledgeable and helpful.

Been to this place before in the past for an event and this one was also very well presented and the atmosphere is very nice. Very nice.

Absolutely spacious with large kitchen, and meeting/ballroom area for weddings, baby showers etc. I attended a sweet sixteen formal gathering. Wonderful and enough space for parking. It was delightful 🙂.

I am a sister of a City of Miramar police officer and we were treated horribly by the Receptionist Angela. Angela in particular who covered our Mothers 63rd Surprise birthday party Friday night made my mothers birthday party a absolute nightmare. She started her disrespect when we had the clear to start decorating at 4pm. I asked Angela to please have all lights off as we provided our party beam lights, she stated no we may not have all lights shut off yet she will shut just a few lights. Extremely odd since Alicia the Event Coordinator and the contract signed did not state having all lights off are prohibited. Angela had all of our guest uncomfortable entertaining the building by harassing them to temperature check numerous times. We could not walk outside for two minutes without her having you temperature check for the third time. Our contract stated party ends at 12, 30 minutes to clear out the space and flexible to extend till one with a fee that comes from your deposit. Angela was aware we are extending till 1. By 11:00 our serves we hired began cleaning the buffet area. By 11:18 mist of us on the dance floor Angela turns on the lights and yells "Party is over time to clean up" while clapping her hands together. She walks to the DJ and tells him to shut off the music it is now time to pack up and leave by 12. I pulled Angela to the side and spoke to her regarding the one o'clock agreement, Angela blatantly disrespected me by turning her back and walk away. I spoke with a gentleman that worked that night yet came at the very end he stated there was no problem with the one o'clock agreement yet that is the maximum time to rent out the hall. Angela enters the room at 11:41pm and turns on the lights again. At this point all our family and friends proceeds to leave. Leaving us without singing Happy Birthday to my mother. I spoke with her once again and her response is "You will not get your incidental". Disgusting. She calls her Manager Kelly and hands me her phone. I'm trying to explain the situation to Kelly the manager as Angela yells as our family and friends are walking out "Party is over". Absolute humiliating our family who planned this party. We cleaned up and left. I will never recommend this venue to anyone. The other staff including Alicia was a complete angel. Too bad she doesn't work the parties for the night. My family including my Brother which works for Miramar Police department is heartbroken as this was the first time we've been able to celebrate our mothers birthday this big with our family and friends that had traveled to celebrate this special day.

Leading up to my event everything was smooth. I spoke Alesha regarding this event for days. She was kind and helpful. The nightmare began day of my event when Angela came every few minutes looking around as if we were doing something incorrect. Every guest that came in stated she was very nasty towards them in regards to the mask policy. I provided a box of masks for our guests just in case some did not bring one. She then stated to my brother whom is a Miramar Police Officer “I don’t know anyone that would walk with our a mask nowadays.” That is not your place to belittle an adult. Provide the mask, have them sign in as asked and continue on with your night. Angela was extremely rude, unprofessional, classless, and crude. On our contract we had 11pm-12am for clean up and we also had and paid for the option to extend to 1am if needed. We hired servers to serve food and also conduct clean up at the end of the night. Angela felt compelled to scold me and express at 11pm “it is clean up time”. The first notification was accepted and understood. At 11:10pm Angela came into the hall and turned on the lights while we were celebrating my mothers birthday and stated it is time to clean up. She then told the DJ to turn off the music and the party is done at 12am. The crude behave continued as she called her manager and kept going into the hall to turn on the lights. She yelled time to clean up multiple times and was very disrespectful to my sister as well. We could not even cut the cake for our mother as Angela made it extremely uncomfortable for our guest. Many people began to leave which ruined the party in the end. Mario one of the most understanding and professional staff member assisted us and confirmed contractually we were correct in the time extension and we could proceed to clean up and leave by 1am. I would like to say thank you to Alicia and Mario for your kindness and your professionalism as you helped us to create what we hoped to be an amazing lifetime memory for our mother and family, but no thanks to Angela for making it a nightmare and horrible scar in our heart as we had family come from far and leave because of the actions of 1 bad apple. Our brother along with my sister and I will see that this never happens to anyone else. Angela is a bad seed at The Miramar Multi complex.
