Mineral City Mill and Grill - American restaurant in Fort Dodge - 2621 5th Ave S, USA

This is probably one of the better restaurants in Fort Dodge, The food was decent. I think the pastas were the best choice. The kids meals come with a lot of food, two kids could share. The waitress was great! We had a party of 14 and the staff quickly put some tables together to accommodate us all. There's a patio if you prefer to sit outside.

The Alfredo bake was delicious. They were dead at 3:30 in the afternoon but the food still tasted fresh. My waitress was very attentive but she seemed like she was growing board with the job though. But I guess that's better than someone who is overly fake or talks to you like you're a second grader. 😅

Great place! Sat at the bar. Friendly staff-everybody seems to have a very positive attitude. They have something for everybody, including seafood. I ordered the bowl of mussels and there were a LOT. They're served in a tomato basil sauce with breadsticks to dip in after you finish. Also ordered a healthy entree: Tuscan gold chicken. It was GREAT. The chicken had perfect grill marks for great flavor and the steamed veggies had the perfect amount of seasoning.

We were in town for my son's wrestling tournament, so we stopped on our way back out of town. It was right before 5 pm on a Saturday. It was pretty quiet when we arrived, but it was getting busy as we were leaving. The food was great. Service was on the slower side, but not terrible. The atmosphere was good. It was pretty cold inside, and our appetizer I felt was pretty small for the price, but overall, it was a good experience. They have really good water, and what I call "the good ranch". The parking lot could use some attention with the ice, etc. We parked on the opposite side from the entrance, and there was no sidewalk to get around the building. There was a lot of ice to walk over on the way in.

Harlee was a super sweet waitress who made our whole experience wonderful! We had Walleye, salads, fried brussel sprout and hubby had penne Alfredo. The food was very tasty.

I can only speak for the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and broccoli. It was good but not my first choice for best alfredo sauce. The price was reasonable, atmosphere was great and the service was really good. I'll go back to try other meals there for sure.

I'm from outta town, thought I'd give this a try, and it was really good! Mac n cheese was smooth, not bold in flavor (that's a good thing), and my sandwich was really good! Great meal options, and an Italian focus with many options for sandwiches. I would definitely go back!

Usually a good experience, but the last couple of visits have been less than satisfactory. 3 out of the 4 dishes we ordered today were raw, cold, and 10 minutes later than the rest. Attached is an image of a burger that was given to me that was raw all the way through. The manager and servers were very polite and apologetic, and appoligetic. As soon as they get their kitchen resorted, i look forward to coming back.
