Today was no exception. Despite a couple of unexpected attendees who hadn't registered, your staff seamlessly arranged for an additional table, ensuring everyone was comfortably accommodated. This level of flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond truly sets you apart. The team is great at always refilling the coffee and water throughout the day without us needing to request it. The quality of the food is exceptional and satisfes our guests. Please convey our gratitude to everyone involved in making our events a success. Everyone's professionalism, attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction truly make the MAC our favorite venue for hosting meetings and events. A wonderful club! I’m very glad I joined (about a year ago). The gym is fantastic, and makes me want wake up early to go workout! The Elephant Room and rooftop bar/restaurant are fantastic, and the views are excellent. Highly recommend!

the first time i came to the rooftop i was a guest to a member, but paid separately on my own bill and my credit card was double charged for both the total of my meal and then again for the whole total plus the tip. check ur statements friends. the second time, i came after work, and ordered a miller lite for my first drink of the evening. the beer was skunked but i didnt complain and just planned to order a different drink as well as food. we were enjoying the company of another member, smiling, laughing, chatting and soaking up the beautiful evening. the server was removing the last menu rather than leaving it on the table and i asked if i could keep it as i hadnt decided on my order yet. the manager then came to check on us and tried to take my half finished miller lite. i told her i was not finished but would like to order a different drink because the beer tasted weird to me and asked her if i could place the order with her (some places have wait staff pooling tips so its a valid question, besides she was supposedly there making sure we were having a good experience so it might make sense that she could take the order). rather than seamlessly helping me, she said she's not a server shes a manager. when the server returned i first ordered food and he pointed out that i wouldnt be coming out at the same time as everyone elses because i just ordered it (seems obvious but ok) then when i asked for a different light beer, he said he was cutting me off because i was drunk (this was my first drink of the night, a miller light, and only drank half). They also cut off the other people in the party (both members) saying that they couldnt order either because they might give it to me. when my member friend explained to the manager that she would be escalating the issue, the manager said she didnt care because it was her last night. As a 20 plus year service industry veteran and counting, i know that certain people dont belong in the hospitality industry, so that made sense. i dont drink much, so maybe that half miller light made me look like i was enjoying myself too much for their liking. with food on the way, the slight buzz i had didnt worry me, but needless to say we cancelled our food order and left. dont come here if you plan to have a nice time, the wait staff might single you out and embarrass you in front of everyone in your party. as a private club, if a staffer was concerned, the appropriate, professional thing to do would have been to pull the concerning member aside and let them know. i will gladly reconsider this review if my member friends concerns are properly addressed by the supervisor.

We had our wedding at the Milwaukee Athletic Club and it was truly magical. The Rooftop Terrace's breathtaking views set the stage for a romantic ceremony, while the Grand Ballroom exuded sophistication during the reception. Katie, the Event Manager, ensured a seamless experience with her expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail. She made us feel a part of the MAC family throughout the entire process. Chef Tom's culinary creations were a highlight, adding a delectable touch to our celebration. (And we are STILL getting people talking about how great dinner was!) Highly recommend this venue for a perfect blend of elegance and culinary excellence. Our heartfelt thanks to Katie, Chef Tom, and the entire team for making our wedding day a dream come true!

The MAC is a great place for all, a place to stay, work, and workout. The relatively recent remodel and upgrades made the experience better. The team is so friendly and willing to help you out whenever they can. There are apartments and hotel rooms on some of the upper floors, great dining for members on the roof, and a beautiful bar lounge for all to enjoy! I love the location, centered in downtown. The lounge spaces are a great place to hang out or get some work done. The athletic facilities offer a variety of options and provide classes to help you improve.

The Milwaukee Athletic Club wears many hats, from apartment to offices to gym to venue, and it wears them all in excellent fashion. The team provides 6 star service and actively engages all guests so they feel welcome even if they are just stopping by for a coffee break. As a members only (sign up requires a sponsorship from an existing member as well) building for all but one room (Elephant Room, a cocktail lounge) you know there will always be equipment available or space in the coworking lounge. While it is amazing already there is plenty of room for growth and further improvements to the facilities which makes signing up for membership today a great networking investment. The building is over 100 years old and after the renovations I am hoping it is around for 100 more years as an essential architectural cornerstone of Milwaukee.

The renovation is incredible! We love having a place to work, workout, and dine out in the city! The cocktails in the elephant room are wonderful and the meals we’ve had so far have been great. So excited to have a rooftop dining option in the summertime too! Proud to be a MAC member and to share this amazing venue with family and friends.

Three of us decided to do happy hour cocktails at the Elephant Room Lounge which is open to non-members. Let's start off with the only good part of the experience....the drinks. They have a limited menu of mocktails, a great addition. I had the cucumber gimlet and it was outstanding. My friends had the happy hour wine. It was fine. Now....the rest of the experience. We walked in and there was a family group with several small children in the corner, no issue with them. There were also two people nursing their drinks at the bar. The bartender did not greet us or we indicate that we had to walk up to the bar to order. No table service, okay, it's a small space and it seemed only the bartender was available for staff. We walked up to the bar and ordered, he took all three of our cards so he KNEW we were paying separately. This will become important later. We asked about bar food because we had read about it in some promotional material we had seen. He says there is a food menu. Okay. Then asks if we're members. No. Sorry, food is only for members. Seriously? There are restaurant spaces for members only, why have two tiers of service in a space held open to the public? And it's not a meal, it's snacks. He did offer us a miniscule bowl of corn nuts and peanuts for the three of us to share. No napkins for the drinks. No water offered. No check to see how things were. We returned to the bar to pay where he informed us that even knowing we were all paying separately, it "would be easier" for him if he put it all on one card. At this point we just wanted to go somewhere more friendly so we put it on one and left. One of our group had been a long time member when her husband was still alive and she was quite disappointed. All that said, it's a shame because the space really is beautiful.
