Milnot Beach at Lake Lou Yaeger - Swimming lake in Litchfield - 4932 Beach House Trail, USA

This is a nice beach in central Illinois with plenty of parking spaces. Many activities to do including beach volleyball, kayaking, diving and floating Ninja warrior course. Life vest rental is included in the admission fee (adult $7 and minor $5). Life Guards are friendly and helpful. Food and drinks can be purchased at the office. However, please bring cash with you since the place doesn't take credit cards. Although ATM is available, one needs to watch the fees.

What a great beach for all ages to enjoy! Tons of water fun and inflatables plus diving boards. They provided life jackets for free. Not much shade so bring your umbrella or pop up tent! Concession and bathhouse make it easy to get in and out. Multiple lifeguards on duty. You can rent kayaks and other stuff too! $5 a person plus $5 cooler fee.

So I thought this was a great place to go on a family trip. We get there things were fine until we started getting accused of steeling a paddle board. That we paid for. They were threatening to call the police. After the woman who was proved wrong about us paying for it she started to say no more than 2 people can be on it and with out life jackets . Even though there was multiple people on one for the whole day almost with out one. My little sisters were on one all day without a life jacket and was never told they needed one . She honestly was just trying to start more problems when we were trying to deescalate them. We were tired of the attitude the woman had so we grabbed all our things and left. You shouldn’t treat paying customers like that. Very disappointed. The owner should maybe teach they’re workers proper manners to paying people. Little to say we will NEVER BECOME BACK ! The place was dirty and they shut down all the activities in the water after a hour being there . Over all they were blatantly disrespectful and rude! I don’t recommend this place to nobody !

Really nice place for the family. For as popular as this beach is it is clean. Easy access to restrooms. Nice variety for all of my kids (ages 6-14). They really enjoyed the day we spent here. Rating 4 starts because it would be nice to include an umbrella rental as part of the offering.

Fun place to bring the kids and swim or lay in the sun. It's a sandy beach and the day we went you could have fried an egg on the sand. Outside of the swimming area has some good fishing. My boys caught a couple catfish and a few bluegill.

i visited this place with my 4 grandkids July 29th. very unhappy, the website doesn't tell you CASH only and then there is fee not only for you to use the Atm $3 but also Atm fee from the lake says on my bank account also $1, i can only imagine the $ they racked in with everybody paying a fee for the Atm..... my son and his family had to wait for them to un plug Atm, because it messed up...it's is very crowded, definitely too small of water area for all the people that was there.... will not be going again!

Lovely spot to slip away for the day. We love driving up here for the day to relax. The other patrons are friendly and there is a fun, family atmosphere. The beach is clean and well cared for.

Great Triathlon here. Great water and good race course. Facilities had washrooms and showers. There was a great play structure for younger children.
