Miller's Ale House - Restaurant in Pensacola - 5906 N Davis Hwy, USA

So to start...Millers has always been my go to so for it to get a failing grade hurts me. So to start I am traveling and am in Pensacola and decided to go to one of my favorite restaurants. It was not busy when we got there at about 2pm yet there was no one at the door to seat us or the group in front of us...and there was no-one there for a good 3-5 min. I was about ready to call the place when a girl came down and seated everybody. I later found out that this girl that is suppose to be in the front was in the back sharing photos and stories with some waiters so she was busy with her Social Media stuff and not with work. Back to the review. We decided to get the nachos, and we ordered the rest of our order pretty much the same time...my wife ordered fish and chips and I got the cheese burger with fries and a side of onion rings. The Nachos came out....and before we could pretty much start eating it, the rest of our order came out. We are both not a fan of all the food coming out at once so this was strike 2. I asked for more ketchup and they bring the ketchup out in what they said was prefilled plastic cups with about a tenth of the cup full of ketchup or something they call ketchup as it was kinda lumpy which to me is a waste since they keep bringing ketchup out in these plastic containers as I like ketchup, just bring the bottle and we will be good. Also, instead of getting A burger with fries and a side of onion rings, I got a burger with rings and a side of fries. This sounds the same but from a price perspective it is just a little bit cheaper (burger plus onion ring with side of fries was $1.99 for rings upcharge and $2.99 for side of fries where is the other way is no charge for the fries and I think $5.99 for rings so $1.01 less for the way the waitress wrote it up, but...) not what I asked for because I wanted more onion rings than fries but ended up with far more fries than what I wanted and next to no onion rings (photo of the rings and partial rinds are attached). So that was strike 3 and 4. The waitress was fine, although she changed my order to save me money but not what I asked for and it seemed like more of the waiters and waitresses that work there behind hidden walls by the bathrooms were too busy on their social media accounts than taking care of business, strike 5. Although the food tasted good...everything else out weighted that fact. Maybe this is what things have come to now.... Really a shame.

After doing dress shopping at Davids Bridal, we came to Miller's Ale House to enjoy a fantastic lunch! Our server was great and the the food was very delicious. The server was on top of our drinks and we never ran empty! Highly recommend coming if your shopping in Pensacola.

My compliments to the Chefs ! One of my sons and I had dinner there 1/24/2024 . I opted out of cooking dinner, so I took him to dinner instead. Delicious and well presented. Shaun the server was approachable within his persona . Very calm and pleasant he gave us excellent service. Thank you kindly. Lisa🌻

We ate here on 1/20/24. The food was cold all of it. We requested for it to be hot the waitress took the steak and said she would reheat it up after it was eaten off of. She sent the manager out and he stated it was perfectly fine to reheat a steak on a grill that someone had already eaten off of. To me that is just wrong on so many levels you already had someone eating off of that food. So how many more times have they took food that was eaten off of and put it on the grill and served others. I do not recommend coming to this place and definitely won’t be back.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Make sure to get the “Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure”. It is amazing!!

I just moved here two months ago and I have just gone on and on about their salmon and I’ve gone several times. Tonight our waitress, Dominque was so incredible and sweet. I had the tiniest issue with my food and she went above and beyond for us. The whole house took great care of us and the food was phenomenal. Amazing customer service and terrific food! Can’t recommend enough. I’ll be asking for Dominique every time now!! Give that girl a raise :)

🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡 I will never waste my money at this establishment again. I called in an order last night. Sirloin steak (medium) , baked potato, broccoli and a salad. I was just around the corner and i was told it would be about 25 minutes even on the text message I got but I was only like five minutes away so when I pulled up I went in I’ve been maybe 10 minutes I walked in and and asked if I could sit at the bar I was waiting for an order to be picked up and she knows what’s the name it might be ready. Don’t think it could be ready. Well it was. I am very disappointed. The steak was black on the outside, almost raw in the middle, the potato, I honestly think it was cooked the day before and the broccoli land and about half raw. Be nice the meal was over $30 plus I tipped five dollars because they ask you on the phone before you get there. You don’t know how the meals even gonna be and it was the worst meal that I have eaten and I would say about over a year, there was only six maybe seven customers and then when I got there, so they weren’t busy I will not go back when there was no way any of that was a mistake. The potato could’ve been used as a football. You could look at it and tell it look like leather I was so mad ,

First time and was pleasantly surprised. Family had wings, French onion soup, and we shared the giant pretzel. Don't remember what else they ate, but I had the teriyaki steak skewers and pot stickers. It was all good. Cooked well, brought quickly, maybe a bit pricey, but can't complain about the food! We all cleaned our plates.
