Miller's Ale House - American restaurant in Watchung - 1664 US-22, USA

Miller's Ale House was a pleasant surprise. Prices are pretty fair and affordable and the menu has plenty of variety. With a drink and entree you'll spend anywhere between $15-$25 a person. The service was just okay but the food tasted great. The wings were fresh and crispy. The shrimps were grilled and seasoned well. The burger tasted great and the patty was soft. Overall a great experience and will likely visit again.

This was my first time eating at the restaurant. The first time I ordered through Door Dash and the food was not good. So I figured I would try eating at the restaurant it maybe different. Well, I enjoyed the atmosphere lots of TVs, which is good because my family are big football fans. The waitress was really nice and patient with us. Now, the food, the sticky ribs, and mozzarella sticks were good as appetizers. We ordered the 35 shrimp meal that was good. I had the 12 wings with BBQ sauce and onion rings. I have had better wings and better onion rings. The meat was tough, and the sauce was not a good BBQ sauce. My mom ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs and shrimp. She said the ribs were ok, not the best. We really enjoyed the Captain's ice cream cake that was really good. Would I come back? Maybe if friends invited me out and wanted to eat here.

Millers is OKAY. I came here after work, sat at the bar and order their holiday margarita (had a strong after taste not great) and cheese burger with French fries. I must admit the price was pretty good which I think is a daily special day. The service was pretty good. The bartender was attentive to me and when I ordered the house margarita (that didn’t taste good at all) she was able to change it. I’ll be honest if you’re looking for quality food. I’m not sure if it’s here. But before I write them off I’ll come back and try a few more entrees since I love in the neighborhood. It’s pretty calm In here and has a slight odor if you sit by the bar. It kind of smells like old towels mixed with cleaning supplies. I definitely think customer service is their strong suit. Food not so much.

Our waitress, unfortunately I can't remember her name, was awesome. Had the nachos for appetizer. They were good except once you got past the top layer, you were basically left with just chips. The burgers are very good. Have been here a few times now and never had an issue.

Drive by on a road trip. Ordered the pork osso buco, it was so good. Meat wasn’t chewy at all. Juicy and tender, you could just eat with a fork. The skin is cripsy. It came with 2 sides(potato and vegetables). The price was reasonable $19 for the meat that I don’t have time to prepare eat home. The pull pork burger was juicy and good too. Price was reasonable for eating in restaurant nowadays, it was about $11. It was good to have it when I’m in budget and have to hang out with friends, also, this made you feel full, also it came with a side. I guess our server was new, she forgot our add on shrimp order, so she put in duplicated orders to her computer, end up charged 2 same pork osso buco and a burger for the bill. It would be better if she check the bills before giving out to customer. I can’t imagine if I came to have a big party of 10+ to dine in, I may need to remember all my guest orders in order to not getting overcharge.

John was our server and was very friendly, attentive and helpful. He is definitely an asset for the restaurant. Now we want to comeback more often because of his service.

The service was very good and welcoming. Food was also good. Reasonable price. Nothing to complain about.
